This is the Strawberry Royal Pudding ($4.50). It is a little pricey considering the small size of the bottle but once in a while, it makes for a perfect little treat. I love how soft the whole pudding feels. I think it is even softer than beancurd. I like how the strawberry gives it a tinge of sourness while the base of the pudding (which seems to be caramel) makes it much sweeter. Of course it is best served chilled! Don't be mislead by the shop name and the Effiel tower from Paris, it was actually a Korean confectionery and nothing French. Because of its novelty and popularity, Paris Baguette has been very crowded since JEM was opened. A little unorganized with long queues and lack of seating may be a drawn back to most consumers.

Decorated with the flashy neon light, its so attention grabbing, and its inevitable that one can walked past without taking a look into the open concept dining.

Upon reaching the shop, i immediately dived and cut into the queues overtaking those who were in deep thoughts selecting those delicate cakes, pastries and sandwiches from the display shelf as they shared the same queue.

Yes! I cant wait to get home and decided to give the strawberry pudding a try, they are just simply irresistible. 3 distinct layers were seen from the small transparent royal pudding bottle. It did have a unique taste, sour with sweetness from the 2 layers of strawberry while the cream color layer was its original flavour. If you scoop towards the bottom of the bottom, you get to enjoy the sweetness from the melted palm sugar aka gula melaka. What a sweet combination!

If you were expecting that these puddings to taste like one of those from the Hong kong desserts cafe, it's actually more than what you think! In fact their softness are more vulnerable and tastes closer to panna cotta. And I beg you cant stop at just one bottle!

My 6 bottles of little puddings are well packed in a box with a packet of ice on its top to chill them before they reaches my fridge.

Our transactions were all handled by Korean guys who efficiently shortened the queues and I had this receipt issued from them. If you notice, you get to see korean characters at the back of the receipt.

After much saying of its available flavors, what's your choice now? Pink? Cream or Yellow?

So happy that Paris Baguette opened more outlets. I don't have to go to town to eat their goodies anymore! The latest Paris Baguette outlet opened at JEM. We ordered the Chicken Sandwich, Oh My Baby, Sweet Potato Cake and Cappuccino. Grilled Chicken is very tasty and wholemeal bread is soft; crepe cake is light and sweet; creamy and fluffy sweet potato cake. All in all, awesome! Although this place is new, it is rather messy and cramped with very little seats. The staff are slow but friendly.

I was so happy that Paris Baguette has a outlet in the west! Same as its outlet in Orchard, Paris Baguette is packed to the brim when I was there. From left to right is Wake Up Jane, Clam Chowder and Blueberry Buttons. Priced around $6 for each, my favorite is the Blueberry Button. It is a small portion of sweet pastry, just the right size to finish alone without feeling sick of it. Wake Up Jane consists of spinach, sausage and egg. It is a small portion of sweet pastry, just the right size to finish alone without feeling sick of it. Wake Up Jane consists of spinach, sausage and egg. This was my first time visiting Paris Baguette! Have always heard so much good thing about this place and was excited to try their yummy-looking pastries. My friends and I went on a Monday noon for brunch and gosh it was so crowded and hard to find a seat! It was probably due to lunch hour and also the place was quite small with not much seats. We took about 10 mins to get a seat and off we went to order pastries of our choices! For me, I ordered a croissant, apple pie, cheese tart and a sausage

Not forgetting their legendary Royal Pudding! I ordered the caramel one. Overall, I quite like their pastries as they tasted not too bad and my favourite would have to be the sausage with cheese pastry! The apple pie was below my expectations but it was too bad either. The croissant was my second favourite (I guessed croissant can't taste any bad.). I had high expectations for the cheese tart but it tasted mehhhh! It was just okay tasting but not fantastic and probably I think it may be because I was too full when I started eating the cheese tart.

The taste of the caramel pudding was great! My only concern was that it was slightly too sweet and I regretted not choosing the original one instead as I think the sweetness level would fit my taste! Would definitely visit them again for more pastries but this time round I would definitely order less as I think 4 pc of pastries plus a royal pudding is too much for me!

Ice Flakes with Red Beans.
SGD 9

Milk and red beans is your cup of tea? Milk flavored shaved ice topped with red beans. It goes real smooth down your throat leaving a soft taste of milk on your taste buds. From a block of ice to the finest ice, shaved ice coated with milk. The mixture of both is perfect.

Royal Pudding (Caramel)
SGD 4.50

I tried both however I would recommend you to try the Original pudding first because it have the lightest taste among all. Softly melting by every bit of smoothness on your tongue, slipping thru your throat and melt in your heart. How good can it feel?

Sunny Breezy Lemon
SGD 7.50

I'm not really a fans of chocolate cakes. For crunch crunch choco, there are bits of crunch in between the sponges. Sunny Breezy Lemon would be the gem I have found! I'm also a lover of lemon, I simply love sour stuff. It taste sweet but with the tip of lemon, so perfect! The sponges for both cake are really soft, very soft. They really put effort when they bake.

Lemon Ade
SGD 8

Filled with slices of lemon, sparkled sprite. Lemon sprite for you? Coke is too mainstream for you?
I was really praying hard it would be sweet and sour at the same time however I would say it's a great disappointment for this. It taste like.. Lemon in sprite, probably this ain't my taste. And, I was pouting when I drank it.

I suppose I'd love to give then full marks for their environmental embellishment, but then again, the crowd was getting into my head as there were TOOOOOOO many people.

We ordered Blueberry Buttons (SGD$5.80), and immediately I transported back to the time where I was in Paris enjoying a similar snack in Paris. Known for their sweet tooth and small portion, the Paris sure indeed know how to indulge! We sat in large comfy chairs and all that was missing was a beautiful outdoor scenery in Singapore ADMIST THE haze (thanks Indonesia).

i love the packaging of their Cafe Latte (SGD$6.00), and it was really smooth and rich, extremely thick in flavour just as the Parisians would have it. Great food and great company, though I'd honestly wish for less people!
