I tried the Curry Seafood Pasta Set Meal($7.80) because I was tired of trying the same pepper lunch sets every time I come here. This is one of my comfort food sources, and I trust Pepper Lunch in giving me yummy food on their sizzling hot plates! Before mixing the curry powder in ... And after! At Pepper Lunch, I always ordered beef and rice, never did I had a chance to order their pasta.Today, I decided to have a try of their pasta. Here, I ordered Aglio Olio, which was a scallop with pasta at $11.90.When the pasta came to my table, I was very surpised to see so many scallops! By right it should come with cheese, but I requested them to remove it, as I prefer the one without cheese, mainly because I am not a lover of fermented food. I really love their non spicy curry! Finally pepper lunch was opened once again after the long wait! I seriously think that the cashier was too slow, the queue wasn't moving at all for 15 minutes and the restaurant long so empty (not as if he had already served a lot of customers). I don't eat pepper lunch sets very often but that day, the whiffs of cooked meat tempted me to order a set when I walked into FEAST. I opted for beef and later on added a mixture of both the garlic and bbq sauce into my pan of rice. The sauces really made the rice very tasty although just a little too salty. not a great fan of pepper lunch but want to try this pepper rice with chicken and salmon thing. I guess for a pepper lover like myself, i think the pepper seasoning was not enough but i think was still not too bad. but one thing i dont like about pepper lunch was the raw bean sprout, the hot plate never stay hot long enough for all my bean sprout to be cooked thoroughly. I know some people like raw bean sprout but personally i dont like so that is also one of the reason that deter me from eating

Pepper lunch is coming up with more and more varieties of items on their menu. Now it also includes items like pasta, stew, curry rice. The prices are affordable, servings are quite huge and filling for 1 person. The vegetables and meat go really well with the sauce, and when you eat it together with rice, the taste is just so good!

I like the Curry Chicken Pepper Rice with Cheese the most coz it has nice curry flavour and after I mix everything around, the cheese was like sxticky on every rice grain and gives a bit of tangle feel. The pepper rice was definitely plain without the corn inside. I'm so loving the corn!!!

I tried the curry beef the other day and it taste pretty good. Waiting time was short, and service was excellent. However the beef is a little tough but it is still acceptable. Serving size was just right, so thumbs up! The salmon was quite tasteless, so I wouldn’t recommend that!

Another visit to pepper lunch. This time I went with my girlfriend there for their beef stew. We both simply love beef stews and pepper lunch’s beef stew is one of the nicest we both have tasted. The beef is very tender and juicy. the beef stew gravy is so tasty, you keep wanting to add it on your rice and eat it. their carrot and onions are braised till it is super soft. I love the mashed potato the best, it is very smooth and goes well with the beef stew gravy!

Had dinner at Pepper Lunch! Tried their teriyaki chicken lunch set. I like the thrill of cooking the rice and chicken. You feel like you’re a chef yourself too! The sauces are very nice, very flavourful. The staff is also very friendly, and polite to customers. Overall, it was a great experience. Great lunch with great service!

i been quite a fan of pepper lunch, i was quite glad that they added a new addition to their menu. they added the curry chicken with mushroom. the curry sauce is not too spicy, somewhat similar to that of Mr Curry's. the mushroom they added is shitakae mushroom. very fat and juicy. the chicken portion quite large. all in all everything tasted really good together.
