couple of weeks back, mcdonald twister fries was back! i think this twister fries tasted much better than normal fries but sadly it was only available during certain period of the year. i also ordered mocha frappe to drink. i think the mocha is not as nice as other cafe since the ice was not well blended and i could still taste quite a big chunk of ice in the coffee

was shopping at bugis junction and bought some snack from fei siong. i gotten the seafood tofu and it tasted not bad other than the salty part. but the barley drink was quite horrible, it was way too sweet and i could hardly taste any barley in it. it just tasted like syrup and the drink was very thick so i did not like it

went down to have ichiban sushi for dinner with my lab mates. since i had too much heaty food recently , i went for something more soupy which was hotate nabe. the set included hotate nabe, salmon sashimi, teriyaki chicken don, chawamushi and fruits. the portion was really big and i could hardly finished the food. the nabe was nice but i think the soup was a little blend so can consider adding some soya sauce when eating

could not decide what to eat so decided to give pepper lunch a second chance since it was having a new promotion for the chicken and scallop rice. i opt for no chili sauce since i do not really like spicy food so the staff added bbq sauce for me. then personally i also experimented with the sauces and i think the honey brown sauce went well with the rice. the disappointing thing was the chicken meat, it looked nice on the hot plate but when i took a closer look, almost 80% was fats and skin!

has been a long time since i last tried at roti mum, i could still remember last time when coffee bun was the trend and everywhere was selling it but the trend has died long ago. this time i tried the butter bun which i think is a new addition to the menu. the bun looked very normal but it tasted really nice and buttery.
