The waffle here was really good when it is hot! I always order the chocolate waffle and they always cooked it well since it was timed well. Chocolate flows out from the waffle all the time and  melts in your mouth! The chocolate's sweetness is just right, not so sweet or not so bitter. This is a good snack if you are hungry or just would like to grab something to bite. 

Prima Deli is located at the 1st floor, you can easily identify this shop as there are always a long queue waiting for the waffle. Prima Deli waffle is my 2 kids favourite, they will definitely ask me to buy for them whenever we go to Heartland Mall. My elder son like the plain waffle ($1.30) which is soft and has a tinge of pandan taste. This particular Prima Deli branch always has a long queue for its waffles, and waffles get sold out pretty early at night. I was looking for some snacks and decided to get their peanut butter waffle and cheese waffle, at around $1.50 each. It's best to heat it up again after it gets cold when you get home. The peanut butter one was very fragrant, and there were peanut bits within, compared to the cheese one which was not that good, so get the peanut butter one.

Having tried so many pandan cakes from different cake shops, my personal favourite is still Prima Deli's. Bengawan Solo's one is not that fluffy and soft, and the colouring is (comparatively) more artificial. I got a whole pandan cake from Prima, and the staff offered to help me cut it into slices, which was a kind gesture. It might be better to get the whole cake as their sliced ones are at $1.10 each. What I like about the mini cakes from Prima Deli is the size of the cake. A 300gm cake is juzt nice for a family of 5 where each person eats a slice / wedge of the cake. Not too overload with sinful dessert after a heavy meal! I always bought bread from here every week when my class end. The texture is fantastic. It soft and fluffy. You can taste the filling butter+sugar, not so sweet compared to those found at other bakeries. It fluffy too. Most importantly, their texture remain the same even after a few hours being left exposed.Always polite, fast, efficient service, without wasitng time on pleasantries.

Had the kaya waffles. It is not recommended. I am used to very thick, luscious waffles from the neighbourhood bakeries. I thought Prima Deli would actually be better than the "no-brand" bakeries. But I was wrong! The waffles at Prima Deli are very thin and small and also very crumbly and too soft. the batter used must have been very thin and not creamy. The waffle turned out like their pandan cake. Soft and crumbly. Not very satisfying as it's not like a hearty waffle!
