Sakae Sushi launched a new menu this November, introducing several new items. Ordered the Lobster Salad Tofu ($7.99). It's hard to scoop up the beancurd as it's so wobbly. The silken beancurd, lobster salad topped with mango cubes and shrimp roe taste so smooth and extra points for the goma dressing!Another of their new dish that could actually be lit up is the Sakae Candle ($6.99)! Another of their new dish that could actually be lit up is the Sakae Candle ($6.99)! It's a great alternative for birthday cakes where you can actually blow out the 'candles'. This sushi has avocado, japanese cucumber, crabmeat, shrimp roe and codfish roe, drizzled with spicy mayonnaise, thus making this a hearty and satisfying snack. I also love the Hotate Arare Maki ($8.99) as the slightly charred scallops make this a special dish that is coated with rice crackers. Crunchy!
Back to the basics.. The always filling Deluxe Bento ($17.99). There are so many food items available in appropriate portions so try them all with glee!
Overall, thumbs up for the new creations! Innovative and tasty!!
