Somehow I like to visit Vegetarian stall at food court, it served delicious and affordable comfort food whenever I felt sickening about meats. Provided a wide range of options, Green Vegetarian in Koufu was quite famous at the moment. Clean and neat, staff were friendly too.Judging from appearance, it looked no difference with the normal mixed rice but it was all vegetarian dishes indeed. Judging from appearance, it looked no difference with the normal mixed rice but it was all vegetarian dishes indeed. Dough fritters were crispy with a little sweetness, tasted similar with Rojak with the drizzle of peanuts on top. Darkening sauce Tofu was huge, very flavoursome after soaking in the gravy for quite some times. Curry was on the other hand enlightening the life of entire plate, I added a big scoop of “Chicken Curry”. I was told by ladyboss that the curry was cooked by soya milk instead of coconut, healthier choice. Generous plate priced at $3.80, it was inexpensive for me.

Went to buy a packet of the vegetarian beehoon from this stall. Firstly, the beehoon is sufficiently cooked, but some part of the beehoon is stick together. As for the dishes include the sweet sauce vegetarian chicken, sweet and sour beancurd and the stir fried brinjal. The sweet sauce chicken is sufficiently seasoned and cooked, and has a soft and slight tender texture. As for the sweet and sour beancurd, it has a firm texture and is not too overcooked. Overall, I think that the standard of their food has not improved since the last time I buy from this stall.

Saw several people queuing to buy food from this vegetarian store with wide variety of food selection attract me to join in the queue. In the end, I have chosen 3 dishes which includes the vegetarian curry chicken, tao kee and lastly the stir fried brinjal. Firstly, lets talk about the curry chicken. The curry chicken and the potato should be cook for a longer time so that the texture will be a little more softer. As for the gravy, it is not that fragrance as compared to the non vegetarian curry

Next the tao kee has a soft and chewy texture with a sauce that is a bit too bland. Lastly, the brinjal is too overcooked as the texture is too soft and mushy and the sauce is also a bit too bland.

Have been patronising this vegetarian stall for serveral time and the food they offer taste good. This time round brought the bee hoon with brinjal, slice vegetarian meat and the crackers. The bee hoon is well cooked, has a nice aroma and taste not too oily. As for the brinjal, it has a soft texture and is cooked with a sweet sauce. Lastly, the cracker is well deep fried, has a crispy texture, not oily and goes well with the bee hoon.

Every weekends if I happen to have some free times, I will travel to Yew Tee Point to my favourite vegetarian bee hoon to eat. Infact the main food which I love to eat from this stall is actually their char siew meat. Its appearance looks really nice and delicious and you will be surprise the taste of it is almost like the real pork char siew meat. It is very chewy and smooth in texture. May not be crispy, but the taste is good enough to make you crave for more.

Brought a packet of vegetarian mixed rice for lunch. The side dish includes bitter ground, vegetarian prawn and meat. Firstly, the bitter ground was equally sliced, cooked with some vegetarian meat and slices of chili. Its was not overcooked, soft and crunchy texture, sufficient seasoning. As for the vegetarian prawn, it was cooked with a sweet oat coating, not that crispy. As for the vegetarian meat, it has a mild sweet and light pepper taste and is well cooked.

Brought a packet of vegetarian food which includes pumpkin, brinjal and so called "vegetarian meat". Firstly, the pumpkin has a soft and smooth texture, rich pumpkin taste. It was well cooked, however, the size of the pumpkin was too big and no sauce nor gravy. Secondly, the brinjal was cooked with a sweet sauce, and the brinjal itself is soft and spongy, not overcooked but its a little bit oily. Lastly the "vegetarian meat" has a mini sugarcane stuff in the middle. This particular side dish is

This particular side dish is quite special because of the combination of the vegetarian meat together with the sugarcane, cooked with a sweet sauce that give a very unique taste. The presence of the sugarcane further enhance the flavour of this dish.

I like the bee hoon from this stall, which is usually available from morning till early afternoon. This stall opens quite early in the morning for breakfast. It has a very nice aroma, which I guess could be sesame oil. Then again, I'm not too sure. The bee hoon is so nice, you can eat it on its own. You can choose the dishes to go with it. I like the mock sweet and sour pork. The sauce is sweet enough, with a tinge of sourness from the pineapples. There is broccoli and cauliflower occasionally,

You can choose the dishes to go with it. I like the mock sweet and sour pork. The sauce is sweet enough, with a tinge of sourness from the pineapples. There is broccoli and cauliflower occasionally, and this is one of my favorite too. The vegetables are very fresh, cooked just right; not too hard or soggy.

There is usually a short queue in the morning, usually by the housewives.
