Shin Kushiya is my all time favourite Japanese restaurant. I ordered a few items namely Gyu Meatballs, Gyu Karubi and their jumbo oyster. The Jumbo Oyster cost $9.80. Wasn't really bad, quite fresh but still lose to the one i've tried in Auzzie! I can taste the freshness and sweetness of the oyster also the taste of the sea You can eat this on it's own but it's still better to have it together with a little wasabi!Gyu meatballs cost $3.20 is made of beef with black pepper. It's really delicious!

Gyu meatballs cost $3.20 is made of beef with black pepper. It's really delicious!! Soft and tasty. They marinate it really well! I wanted to order a few more sticks but sadly it ran out of stock

Gyu Karubi cost $3.80 is also beef in a rectangular shape. It's soft but a little hard to chew. Probably overcooked. Will go back for their meatballs again

Beef Inaniwa Udon is really good. The soup base is not too salty and not too blend. Just right though i'm someone who love salty food. Their thinly sliced beef is so good that i can feel its tenderness, and softness in my mouth. It is easily chewed and swallowed! As for the udon, it is not those thick roundy white noodles we see oftenly in the supermarkets. This is like our chinese white kway teow. Smooth and silky till it just dissolve when consumed. Thumbs up. Pretty healthy too but price wise

My top recommendation from this restaurant is none other than Buta Bara (Charcoal Grill). It has good mixture of fats and meat skewered in a stick grilled to perfection. Juicy and tender. Truely godly.

Another love of mine from here is their salmon sashimi. I'm ultra particular about the freshness. Over here, they served thick, fat slabs of salmon sashimi on a bowl of ice.

Garlic Rice is a must have too, ultra fragrant. We decide to pair the garlic rice with tonkatsu (doesn't taste good and we still prefers tonkichi's).

In conclusion, it was a great dinner with great food and great ambience; with seating by the windows over at the restaurant overlooking RWS and the habourfront port. Definitely coming back again.
