Many pieces of thick sliced fried fish meat are added in the soup, which are in golden brown and the meat is juicy and soft. The fried fish soup here stands out for it’s soup but not the fish. I don’t mean that the fish is not fresh or has the fishy smell, but the fried fish is not crispy at all. The skin is not thick enough, the fish was just coated lightly with flour and fried for a quite a short time only. The soup is simply delicious, be sure to ask for milk for the soup, it smells nicer too!

A small coffee shop located just about 5 minutes walk to the toa payoh library, it is quite difficult to get seats here during lunch. The place is quite warm, not much ventilation, but the food is great! The soup tastes so good, the milk adds to the flavour of the white fish.
