There's a lot of small food stalls at 5th floor of Far East Plaza. I always passed through this shop and haven't try it before, coz always saw less crowded.I decided to give it a try how was it. But Surprisingly, they serve pretty yummy food at affordable price.I ordered sweet & sour chicken rice. The fried chicken cutlet with sweet & sour paste, came with a fried egg, vege and rice.It was quite tasty and can acceptable price at $4.50. I'll definitely come back and try other food too.

Far East Plaza is good for cheap food around Orchard especially the small eateries on the 5th floor. I decided to order the Duck Noodles from this stall as it looked good from the pictures. The noodles are nice and chewy, the type of wanton noodles I like, and it came with a satisfying portion of juicy duck meat. The duck meat is a little oily, but acceptable. Well worth for only $3.50

Tasty Treats is probably one of the more eye-catching eateries at the top floor of Far East Plaza with its wider entrance and red walls. From the looks of it, it didn't seem as crowded as its neighbours Susan Chan or New Station Snack Bar, but who knows what it holds until you try.So I did... with a safe bet of Sweet and Sour Chicken Rice ($4.50) to takeaway! So I did... with a safe bet of Sweet and Sour Chicken Rice ($4.50) to takeaway! On the overall, it was passable. The sauce was more sour than sweet, which is usually the case because to make it vaguely sweet you need to put a lot of sugar in it. I'm fine with sour or sweet versions, but a pity was that the sauce was too little to go with the rice. The vegetables also tasted half-cooked, like they have been boiled for a few seconds and plopped into my packet.

Could do better, but edible... and come 'on, it's pretty cheap at $4.50. But if you're willing to part that extra $0.50, trust me, you'll get a better deal at New Station Snack Bar for the same dish.

Tasty Treats is one of the many eateries on the 5th floor of Far East Plaza, which serves some of the more affordable food in Orchard.Admittedly, I have always walked passed the shop without going in as it's one of the shops with lesser crowd on that floor. Once I opened the styrofoam box & saw the yellowish rice, I knew I've made the right choice. I love fried rice well coat with egg. Yum!

The tastiness of the rice is just right and I actually finished every bit of it. Will come back for more next time!

A colleague bought back this lunch for from Orchard's Far East Plaza. Was surprised at the amount of char siew given (picture below) as I thought eateries at Orchard will tend to be a little bit stingy on the portion but I was wrong. I like their char siew as is very flavorful and little fats (I prefer lean meat). Their wonton is good and solid too, not too mushy even after boiled. The noodles has expanded as it was packet back, so I guess it will taste much better if eaten there. Heard that the

Once again I ended up lunching at Far East Plaza. Everyone knows you can find dirt cheap food here and one of my fav places is Tasty Treats on the top floor. This store serves a wide variety of dishes, from curry chicken to claypot rice and even Western dishes like chicken cutlet.I come here whenever I'm craving for duck and I usually order the duck drumstick. I come here whenever I'm craving for duck and I usually order the duck drumstick. It is slightly pricey ($6 instead of $4+) but considering you won't be chewing on tiny bits of bone, it's worth it. Also, the noodle version is just as good as the rice version.

This time we ordered an additional plate of roasted pork belly to share. This was $5. Pretty average - nothing very special about it.

The only complaint I have about this place is the poor ventilation. After your meal you'll end up smelling like roast duck or some sort of meat!
