A must try for mushroom lover!! we had the buffet at the Indoor Stadium outlet on a weekday night, the restaurant was decently crowded, staff were quick to usher us to a table when we enter. Needless to say, their steamboat soup broth was mushroom based, at first I was worried it might be too mushroom-ly and have a strong smell that bf couldn't take it, but surprisingly the soup broth was a nice blend of mushroom and maybe herbs? The ingredients for steamboat was decent, fish slices, chicken, pork slices all goes well with the soup. One good point to note is they serve cooked food, my boyfriend even ordered fried noodles! I love their monkey head mushroom, it was juicy and very chewy, one can never stop at just eating one. Another dish I LOVE is their fried bun, the bun was nicely fried to a crispy outside and soft bun inside, I can eat 4 on my own despite being very full with the steamboat dishes. Will visit again when my cravings for mushroom comes! =)

This is definitely a heathly choice of food. I will certainly come back again.

I'm a mushroom lover and have patronized this place several times. The fried golden mushroom at $6 (huge serving by the way) is a great snack. Also love the gong bao monkey head mushrooms; it's difficult to find this dish anywhere. The highlight was the dessert though, they have many different kinds to choose from and the apple ice cream is not only appealing, cute, but also tasty: looking exactly like an apple, the "core" is made of chocolate.

The Stir Fried Rice Cake was a tradition dish with a modern twist. The texture of the rice cake was firm and nice with the mushroom fragrant.

The Fried Beancurd Skin had a nice and thick fish paste. Although it was deep fried, it was not too oily. The dipping sauce was a good complement to the dish.

The restaurant is conveniently located right in front of the parking lots, so we can just park our car and walk over to dine. The place has glass panels spanning from the ceiling to the floor which allows eaters to enjoy the view outside while they're having their meal.

For a start, we ordered two types of soup base, namely wild mushroom and spicy ma-la soup. These two soup bases are pre-included in the buffet price, but you can add $4-$6 to have other soup bases. I like the wild mushroom soup base as the mushrooms' fragrance and taste are strong but not overpowering.

We are entitled to pick 5 items from their starters or house specials prior to having our steamboat and this is already included in the buffet price as well. Below are some pictures of the dishes that we ordered.

Sometimes they serve pickled vegetables (si chuan vegetables) as appetizers and you can get a plate of it at about $1.50 (got to pay for this, it's not included in the buffet).
I love the taste of their pickled vegetables, and it serves its purpose as an appetizer very well.

The dish featured in my top most picture is braised wild mushroom E-Fu noodles. You can order as many plates as you want as it's free flow
The noodles were delicious and springy.

Although beverages are not included in the buffet, plain water is free flow. They have special rates for high tea and it's cheaper if you dine during lunch time. It'll be useful to call them up to check if they have credit card promotions too.

I chose the spicy mala soup while my dinner partner chose the wild mushroom lingzhi soup. Mine wasn't spicy at all and his was abit bitter but when we combined the soup together, it was a good mix. Wonderful taste!Another good one on the menu. The sauce is not too over powering and the scallops are not too hard. Just the right chewiness for me. Doesn't have fishy taste like some scallops I used to take before.Looks awful but taste ok. Not something I would boast about but it's passable. The hard

Looks awful but taste ok. Not something I would boast about but it's passable. The hard on the outside and soft on the inside taste is not my cup of tea. A good try though...

This is so nice, we had 2 of them. The cucumber is crunchy and the soy sauce is not over powering. On top of that, the sesame oil gave this dish a really fragrance smell and taste! I can have 10 plates of them at one go!!

I love the taste. Not oily and it comes with a wee tinge of chili. Perfect appetizer for the main course.

Price is at $29.90++ per person

Personally, I couldn't distinguish much different between each different kind of mushroom except for it texture.
Nice prawns and delicate fish and also the more common yong tau foo and meatball.
The experience was rather pleasant.

The service there is also good and efficient, although they do sometimes tend to forget a couple of orders might have missed out in the process. I guess that's a norm in most ala carte steamboat restaurant.
