Back in September when there are still the Chef’s Korean inspired soup specials, I went and tried out the kimchi soup. The Kimchi soup comes with a condiment of an egg. Actually, I expected that the egg would be those soft boiled like in toast joints. That said, besides this, I found the soup to be really nice, though it got a little too saltish towards the end, because there is no plain tasting food (like rice or noodles to pair with it). In fact, I think it can rival those kimchi soups from Korean restaurants as the soup by Soup Spoon is full of ingredients and it is very yummy. If only it is on the permanent menu, I could have this every week and not get sick of it.
