I ordered the papaya noodles soup dish and peach milk tea. According to what i know it is sort of a common dish in HK.Expecting something delicious to fill my stomach but actually disappointed. The soup was horrible and tasteless with floating papaya, corn that is only a small portion, noodles and pork i think. A few scoops of the dish i was completely turned off.At the second Xin Wang, couldn't remember which branch it was, i ordered porkribs with noodles. Again, the same horrific taste engulfs

At the second Xin Wang, couldn't remember which branch it was, i ordered porkribs with noodles. Again, the same horrific taste engulfs me. The pork ribs i believe is canned type of pork ribs. This goes to show how insincere the restaurant serves their food. Of all things canned pork ribs~ I believe diners are a discerning bunch. The noodles is dry and salty.

Also, the ambience is terrible. It is like one reviewer mentioned, a wet market. The noise level was so loud that i couldn't even hear what my friend was saying.

Chicken bake rice $10.50 ordered a chicken cheese bake rice, the melted cheese luscious beneath the crispy cheese on the surface. The cheese is chewy and soft. However, the rice is not fragrant enough. It was rather a large size as the chicken was served in a large portion. Ying yong $3: The signature HK Ying Yong is decent. It is simply a mixture of tea and coffee. The strong coffee aroma with the sweet and bitter tea taste makes the whole drink nice and you will yearn for another sip.

I ordered the Maggie Mee at Xin Wang Hong Kong Café which costs around $10 for a bowl. It tasted average, the soup was a little bland and the portion of the noodles was quite little. The ambience of the cafe was noisy and busy during the peak hours of the dining period. The staff seems shorthanded and they took awhile before attending to our orders.

Operating hours

It was nice to find some place that close late as Singapore seldom have shops that still opens late at night.

Mon to Thu: 11.00am - 2.00am
Fri to Sat: 11.00am - 3.00am
Eve of PH: 11.00am - 3.00am
Sun & PH: 11.00am - 2.00am

Service

My family was quite irritated when ordering the food as usually we order we just need to say the food, but that day we need to say the food with the label of the food. Probably the person who serve us do not understand chinese or maybe she is new.

Overall, the service crew was quite nice.

My first time to XIng wang at cineleisure. From its menu, papaya soup and the french thick toast stand out and I recommend anyone to try it.Papaya soup sounds weird at first, but the taste is far from papaya. It tastes fresh and very sweet. The thick toast is very value for money and the taste makes me love it so much so that I would want to go eat again!I like the concept of using metal tin to contain the teh (milk tea).Great to hangout with friends for a tea break and to order a few snacks.
