Environment is good as it is not so pack during a weekend afternoon. The shop has ample of seats.

Service is good as once we are seated, they come to ask for orders promptly.

Reasonably price and affordable for snacking or breakfast.

This place is from taiwan, it has really good mee sua, but they put in pig's intestines and i find the taste quite smelly. So perhaps can get them not to add it in for people like me who doesn't like the smell and taste. However the mee sua taste really good when i avoid the intestines. They also have tau huay, the salty type. has a really unique taste. other places do not have them

The S$1.10 You Tiao (fried dough stick) was served to us cold and very oily - The oil actually soaked through the white rice paper. The S$1.20 soya milk was cold and thick. Unfortunately, it was quite a small cup and a bit powdery.

This place is good for satisfying cravings, but as a should-think-about-it if you intend to be a regular patron.

This eating house has one of the best you tiao in town. The size of the you tiao is much longer and thicker than other places you tiao, and they are also not as oily as the rest as well. Their you tiao are also very crispy from the outside and the internal texture is very fluffy and light. Great to eat it on its own or to dip in a cup of hot soya milk drink. The price is also very reasonable as well.

I was here for the first time. I have been misisng the taiwanese foods quite badly so decided to try some of their singatures. One of those that we ordered is Luo Ruo Fan. It consists of braised minced meat, braiseed egg and some vegetable. This dish is a disppointment. It did not taste like the real thing that i had in taiwan. They should have used pork belly rather than minced meat in making this dish. I would not try again.

This eating house may only has a wide range of food to choose from, but their selective range of foods are good enough to satsify you, especially their mee sua which is a must have food for me if I visit them. The mee sua is very smooth and not too salty. THe portion is also very generous and the price is quite reasonable too. Eat it while it is still very hot and add in some pepper and black vineager will enhance the flavour of the mee sua too.

The Youtiao (油条) seems bigger than others. It was quite oily but crispy and nice. The other reason I like my beancurd with soya bean drink because I can dip the Youtiao into it. I like soaking my Youtiao (油条) in the soya bean drink before eating it.

At Yong He (永和), they also sell Taiwanese snacks. The Shao Bing (烧饼) with Egg is one of my favourite.

The food was really quite solid. The Mee Sua, which I usually dislike, was robust and packed a punch. The beancurd was quite smooth and the yu tiao (fried dough) was cripsy and very delicious but just a tad too oily. We, adventurous, tried the salty beancurd with cai-po, soya sauce, white pepper and green onions. You’d think it strange but it was actually very appetizing. It’s like eating a healthy alternative of chwee kueh.

Service was Superwoman quick. And the ambience–well, if you want to escape the gangster street of Geylang, this seems to be a good shelter. Quite old school coffeeshop chic. I endorse this shop. Open 24 hours. Eat already can go on the streets to earn back the dinner money some more, unless you’re an old uncle lah, then you’ve to pay. Uncles are the only human species with no market value: women of all ages and young boys have. Sigh, we live in a sexist world, I, an uncle, feel discriminated against.

JJ, a chinese pop song singer has a song called 'dou jiang you tiao'. These 2 are always inseparable. Yong He Eating House in Geylang, which opens 24 hrs has so called one of the renowned shop selling the tau hway and youtiao. The soya bean drink is quite normal though. Beancurd tastes normal too. I guess the problem lies with the bean we used, tasted a beancurd in Vietnam on the town street and it is the best ever beancurd I have tasted before, very smooth and melts once it enters your month.

The you tiao is quite ok. Eat it while it is hot, and try dip in the soya bean, it goes well too. ;)

Ordered a cold and warm soya bean drink. The cold soya bean drink tastes nicely done. Not too sweet and smooth. The warm soya bean was disappointing though. The drink was rather watery and there seems to be no taste at all.The toasted bun with egg and pork floss was extremely disappointing as well. A rather tasteless dish too. It was as if I could make it myself.

This "red bean shao bing" is very nice.
I like the red bean fillings.
It's sweetness is just right.
The red bean filling's colour is reddish, not like other shop's filling is dark red colour.
This means that the red bean fillings is fresh and they use quite good quality's red bean to make the fillings.
The shao bing is very crispy,a bit like pastry but not so "brittle".

The sesame make each bike taste nicer.
As seen from photo, this shao bing also got few layers,so be careful when you eat,it will drop.
This shao bing is full with red bean fillings aand its size is a bit bigger than an iphone.
Cost:$2.6

I would like to buy it again.

They also sell other stuff like Xiao Long Bao, Taiwan Noodles, Taiwan Stewed Pork Buns, and more.

They charge extra $0.10 for takeaways.

I highly highly recommend the bean curd and you tiao.
