Was searching for something for breakfast at tanjong pagar exchange and I came upon this shop as it is stragetically well located near one of the exchange exit. It was rather interesting as this shop sell whole mini Pandan cakes in assorted flavours. I chose the original one, Pandan chiffon ($1.70) and I was surprised by the fluffy soft texture of the cake.  On top of that, it is not too sweet and has some coconut fibre in it.

Have not tried this before so i decided to give it a try. They offer a wide variety of flavours of chiffon cakes but eventually i settled on the chocolate, orange and oreo. The chocolate and orange costs $1.40 but the oreo one cost $1.70. Overall i would say its not that bad as it is kind of fluffy and light, good for an afternoon tea time snack i would say.

I was at Tanjong Pagar xchange,some days back & I spotted Yummi Chiffon. I saw their doughnut shaped cakes & was tempted to buy 1, I had never tried their cakes before. I picked a tripple chocolate & tried it out immediately. The chiffon cakes are less sweeter compared to other cakes, they are light & tasty. I would say, it was like any other cake, but nice.

After having a good impression of their cakes, I decided to get another one when I dropped by Tanjong Pagar yesterday. The cake I got this time around is the oreo chiffon cake. Somehow, I felt that the oreo chiffon cake is quite lacking in flavour. I am not sure if it happened to be a mistake on the person baking, but I couldn't taste any hint of oreo flavour at all. Their chiffon cake is real good! Very creative i’ll say. Turning the traditional pandan chiffon into many different varieties. Soft, velvety and healty. Not too expensive either. Worth trying. Their pandan chiffon may not be as good as bengawan solo but it’s a good choice too! there are many different flavours such that you will be at a total lost on what to choose.

There was a period where i searched high & low for mini chiffon cakes with interesting flavours. Oh well, that was already history cuz during that period where i searched so hard, i didn;t managed to find any so i gave up.While i passed by the Tanjiong Pagar Xchange after a training session last week, i chanced upon what i've been searching for previously and I finally found it.... mini chiffonsChocolate and bananas are always a perfect match hence i chosen it.Got a healthy choice as well! I was attracted to Yummi Chiffon as I saw quite a few office ladies buying from them. I went over to have a closer look and I saw they are actually selling chiffon cakes that are lower in sugar and fat. Being a female, I was attracted by this selling point and decided to get one for myself. The counter girl recommended me to get the chocolate flavour. It was really good. The chocolate taste is more towards the dark chocolate taste and the cake is really not too sweet at all which suits my taste.

This is Banana chocolate chiffon cake from Yummi Chiffon.I like to buy this flavour because I can taste 2 flavors in one time. Their chiffon cake is best to consume on the same day because is stil soft, spongy and fresh. If you couldn't finish, you can keep in the fridge. Their chiffon cake is made without any preservatives. The taste also not very sweet so I like this healthy cake very much.

For my house mini potluck party, my mother made me go down to yummi chiffon to get the cranberry soy flavored chiffon cake. I think it is the nicest flavour as the smell is not so strong and the cranberry goes really well with the cake. I absolutely enjoy it. All the guest at my house also found the cake really light and fluffy and it was one of the most well received dish at the party.

I was glad to see a branch of yummi chiffon here at tanjong pagar exchange when I was waiting for my girlfriend to end work. I decided to buy one for her to eat in case she was hungry from work. I bought the mocha flavoured to share. the mocha smell was quite strong, the chiffon was light and soft, not very filling so we still had space for dinner afterward. It was really good.

There was a queue during lunch time and I thought I'd check it out.It sells Chiffon cakes and I saw that the stall labeled itself as a healthier option.I scanned through the assorted flavors and thought I'd settle for the Orange.My verdict is that it was really fluffy and soft, melted in my mouth with the first bite! I'll definitely get another one when I do pass by this place next time.

Honestly, they don't taste as good as they make it sound. If you do notice, they'd put a sign on the counter that states their chiffon cakes are low in fat, low in sugar, a healthier option and what not..
