After eating my lunch at Sushi Express, I shopped around Westgate and realised Tim Ho Wan had opened! Hence, I decided to join the the queue to try some famous dimsum.

The queue was not as long as the other branch at Plaza Singapura, I only need to queue about thirty minutes.

Since my stomach was already almost full, I ordered a few dimsum items to try, such as Beef ball with beancurd skin, Spinach dumpling with shrimp and Glutinous rice in lotus leaf. The prices were not cheap, the Glutinous rice in lotus leaf alone cost $5 and others at about $4 each.

The three dimsums that I ordered tasted average, maybe the staffs was rushing to make and cook the dimsum for the large crowds during the first opening day.

The Beef ball with beancurd skin was well minced with slight springy and soft to chew. The beef was slightly fatty and tasted savory with the marinated sauce.

The Spinach dumpling with shrimp had more spinach than shrimps which was opposite with the printed picture in the menu. It tasted slightly bland.

The Glutinous rice in lotus leaf was steaming hot when opening up the lotus leaf. There was some shredded of meat and mushroom inside. The rice was soft and sticky, tasted savory due to the marinated meat and mushroom inside.

Overall, the dimsum was average, the prices was quite high and there is better dimsum in the same shopping mall.
