Whenever my friend goes to Taka, he always sees this restaurant. And so, while we were thinking of a place where we could have our Friday Night Dinner, he suggested this place. From the outside, it looks fancy and pricey. But the price is mid-range so it's quite affordable. We were able to get seats right away, despite their limited space and it being a Friday night. I guess the reason for this is that they're quite hidden from the maddening weekend crowd (they're in the B2). Anyway, I ordered
Anyway, I ordered the Seafood Gratin. My friend and I added a Margerita pizza for sharing. My gratin took a while to be served, but it was understandable. When it was put on my table, it was still sizzling hot. At least I knew that it was worth the wait. It was so creamy but the generous toppings of seafood cut through that rich taste...which could make you bored after eating too much. The mussels were very meaty, squid had that perfect crunch, and the seafoods were very tender. I enjoyed it very much.
The margherita pizza was no exception.I first noticed the thin and crunchy base. it wasn't too drenched in pizza sauce, but the tomato toppings were very generous. I can't wait to come back here again to try other dishes!
