AJISEN RAMEN Resturant for my lunch today

I met my friend at yck control station and we proceeded to take the train together to Woodlands. My friend suggested to have Ramen for our lunch thus we went to basement one and went in to 'AJISEN RAMEN'.

The staff was polite and she ushered us to an empty seat. We ordered Lunch special which was $10.90 including a drink, side dish and ramen. On top of that, we even got 10% discount for student (2-5pm) as well
This was simply a great deal.

I've ordered Vegetable Ramen, Hot Green Tea and Crispy Chicken while my friend ordered Spicy Cha Shu, Fried Tofu and Cold Green Tea.

The above picture is 'Vegetable Ramen'. There were variety of vegetables placed on top of the noodles which are corn, beansprouts, shitake mushroom, carrots, cabbage and more. The noodles has a clear bite texture and nice. The soup was thick however I felt that it was a little too salty. Overall, the portion was quite big per serving .

This is the hot ' Green Tea' that I ordered for my drinks. For this promotion, we are only allowed to choose green tea (Hot/Cold) or Ice lemon tea.

This is the crispy chicken that I ordered. The chicken was tender but it was quite oily :C

I loved their fried tofu the best (: The tofu tasted quite plain but one's can dip onto the light sauce for more flavours. There was a layer of thin fried skin wrapped around the cube tofu.

Lastly, the above picture is Spicy cha shu ramen which my friend had ordered. I did not taste his food but only drank a few mouthful of the soup. The soup tasted spicy, if anyone loved spicy food you can try ordered it to fill up your stomach (:

Overall, we spent about $12.50 individually for this wonderful lunch
