Skinny Pizza is a place I've always wanted to try but it always slipped my mind til now! I headed down to have a meal there with a friend. We ordered the Squid Ink Pizza ($26) and ordered another 3 side dishes to share: Truffle fries, brie cheese and grilled prawns (3 side dishes for $18)For the side dishes, the one that appealed to me most would be truffle fries! For the side dishes, the one that appealed to me most would be truffle fries! The fries were rich with the taste of truffle oil and Skinny Pizza was very generous with the serving of truffle oil! Brie cheese was a delight as well although the portion was a little small for the price. The grilled prawns were decent but my focus was entirely on the truffle fries!
The squid ink pizza was delicious! Although a bit high prise wise, the taste and portion of toppings is excellent! THe crust and base of the pizza was crispy and stained black with squid ink. The toppings were of a good mixL Vegetables, prawns and many many squid rings! Sadly there wasn't any of my favourite cheese but the toppings more than made up for it! All in all a good meal! We went in the evening and surprisingly there wasn't much of a crowd, so head down on weeknights if you can!Post
