It was my birthday and my friends and I came to eat at Din Tai Fung Hot & Sour Soup - I was skeptical about this dish at first because of the name. There were tofu slices, beancurd skin, and small bits of pork in this soup (and some other ingredients)... but the winning point of this dish for me was the soup! There was a generous dosage of vinegar and black pepper in it, which is essentially my favourite flavours - and the texture of the soup is so thick! I love it a lot - it is also piping
