Looks like a authentic Italian restaurant like those you would find in Italy. However, the staff was not very friendly, they did not greed us with a smile when they serve and take our orders.
I ordered the Al Quartto Formaggi which is the one shown below. It consist of 4 different types of cheese including blue cheese. Looks a bit bland because it is all in the same colour. Has a good taste of the cheese but seems like simply a really creamy pasta. Not super fantastic, I feel. And the spaghetti is a little hard for my liking.
There are actually a lot of pasta choices to choose from. From thick ones like tagliatelle to rounded ones like gnocchi. You name it they have it.
We also ordered the Parma Ham Pizza, which is the Chef's recommendation. Was quite huge and worth it. Crust was thin but a bit hard, topped with slices of parma ham though it was a bit salty. Perhaps it is due to the parma ham, which is a bit salty by nature.
The staff was kind enough to help us keep our birthday cake in the fridge and constantly refill our plain water. Their menu has quite a variety as well, from starters to pasta to pizza to risotto to calzone to dessert.
Overall, the experience was ok. Not too expensive. Pasta is less than S$20. There are other more expensive Italian restaurants that cost more than $30. Pretty affordable like other cafes that serves pasta.
