This is one of the best char kway teows I have had in singapore. I much preferred the penang version of char kway teow to the local version because it is more savory is less moist. I like my noodles light and dry without being too greasy and this really fits the bill. The noodles are cooked perfectly and have great flavour to them. Big juicy prawns add tons of flavour too. For 5 dollars a plate, this is not cheap but still affordable.

My grandmother bought us a box of paus from tanjong rhu today. These paus come in sets of ten per box and cost 7 dollars about for one box. Each pau is tiny but it is packed with flavour. The filling is saucy and smoky and the taste of the char siew filling is very savoury and slightly sweet. The skin is supply and smooth and is really good. Though tiny, the paus really pack a lot of punch!

Orange julius is famous for one thing, their famed orange juice. The drink is pricey at about 4 dollars for a small cup, but it is really yummy. The drink is frothy and made to order, and tastes much better than regular orange juice. It has sweet notes to it, and a pleasant taste. The drink is not too sweet with good orange flavour however there is something extra that sets it apart from normal which I cant describe.

This thai food chain is my new favourite place to go for thai food. They have a wide menu and almost everything on it is affordable and delicious. The green curry is very fragrant and delicious and is a must order for us everytime we visit. Coming in a variety of flavours, we choose the prawn one every time. The prawns are fresh and succulent and the gravy base is thick and fragrant. A delicious curry overall!

I visited Marche with some friends for dinner. At the pizza counter there were also these buns which were topped with cheese and other toppings. I had the mushroom cheese one and requested that it be heated up. Hot and fluffy the bun was very satisfying. However do feel it was expensive fr the size costing about three dollars for a mostly plain bun with only a little bit of toppings.
