I attended an event and the host served the guests with tasty canapés. The catering was from Oh’s Farming Catering. I had mushroom topped on French loaf bread. The mushroom was juicy and as the juice flowed to the bread. This made the bread soft.
The next item was the salmon tart. The salmon was fresh and the tart was neither soft as it did not crash once bite.

The 3rd item was the soba with fresh prawn. It was unusual to have soba served as one of the canapés but the catering was able to do it by using a deep spoon.

The 4th item was the tomatoes purees filled on top on the mini pasty base. The tomatoes puree was delicious.

The 5th item was the fruit tarts. There were 2 different types – berry tarts and kiwi tarts. There was no layer of gelatin so I could taste the freshness of the fruits.

The last item was the cookie. The cookie was rich was cinnamon. As I did not like the strong cinnamon, I could not finish the cookie.
The whole, I enjoyed the food very much.

I had pizza from Pizza Hut. The 2 food items are classic BBQ chicken pizza and sweet N spicy drumlets. The pizza was thick and rich with BBQ chicken. The pizza was not cheesy but with the spicy BBQ chicken, it was delicious. The BBQ drumlets had blended well with the sweet and spicy sauce. The sauce had marginated well and meat was tender.
The meal was satisfying.

The pizza costs $20.90, and the 10 pieces drumlets costs $9.90.

It was raining in December. Still I I had a cup of coffee blended with peppermint-flavoured syrup, mocha sauce, milk and ice. It was topped with sweetened whipped cream and caramel brulee topping. Once the mocha and caramel were stirred, the rich caramel enhanced the taste of mocha. I enjoyed the drink. The service was fast. I waited less than 5 minutes for my order.

I tried the frozen strawberry yogurt. It tasted more than ice cream, it was lower in fat than ice cream because of the substitution of pure milk in the place of heavy cream. It was not sour as yogurt used to be. As I ate, I thought I was eating ice cream ! After eating, my mouth did not feel the creamy on my tongue. I thought the yogurt would not fill my hunger. Surprisingly, I did not feel hungry after that. The yogurt was indeed a healthy snack.

November was my birthday month and I received a mini cupcake from my niece. It was not a big cake but a small cupcake costing her $2.80 from West Coast Plaza and presented the cake to her Aunt. It was a great blessing.

Though small to satisfy my craving, it was a sweet cake. I took small mouthful as I know a single mouthful could have finish the cake. I ate and tasted the caramel flavor and the smooth caramel melted and flowed through my tongue.

The cake texture is small. It was about 2 cm height.
