I used to frequent this area regularly when I was working in Chinatown. As it was one of the few air-conditioned food court in the area, many people flock there whenever the weather gets really warm.

I usually order the chicken set here, with the You Cai and Chicken breast meat and soup. The quality of the Chicken Rice is quite common and nothing unusual. My mum and my best friend really like the chicken curry noodles though. smile

I love coming here, even though there are many Seoul Garden outlets that are nearer to me. It's primarily because they serve all the items ala-carte!

And get this, they have flower crab! Wow, I love flower crab, and they only serve it when it's in season. So it's an extra treat, whenever I see it on the menu.

And I also love the freshly scopped ice-cream, like chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.

It sure beats trying to fight with people to dig at the self service counters.

Ala Carte buffet Brunch Smile Mar 09, 2011

I was there at Jing more than a year ago. Now I have read other reviews that the standard has dropped at the restaurant and also they are not as generous with the servings already.

But this is what I had.

1) Peking Duck, good! The chef make it ala minute for you.

2) Chilli Crab, two big claws for two patrons, and those side legs.

3) Wasabi Prawns. Good!

This is what I can remembered and the most memorable food items of all.

Categories : Food Court | Chinese Soup

I was here attending Andy Fletcher at Ku De Ta, but he decided to come out late, like midnight late, so feeling hungry, I went off to eat something at the Rasapura masters.

And we always choose to eat the Ban Mian, This Ban Mian costs twice as much as the foodcourt stalls out there, but I believe it's worth it.

The secret is in the soup stock. Generous amounts of Ikan Bilis and the soup taste really sweet. Can see that they really put a lot of high quality ingredients when making the soup.

Nice. They are open 24hours.

Nice Ice Kachang Smile Mar 09, 2011

Categories : Hawker Centre | Desserts and Cakes

The prominent sign in front of the stall saying that it was recommended by Channel U caught my eye.

So I just ordered the Qing Tyne, and the Ice Kachang. Both come in generous portions and less than $2.

It was just the salve to a hot and humid day.
