They only have 3 desserts on rack, which are Dark Chocolate Tart ($6.80), Creme Caramel ($6.80), and Lemon Bundt Cake ($5.80) topped with snow glaze and served with freshly whipped cream and strawberry. They have mains too, but we gave that a miss since we are here for desserts only!
Lemon Bundt Cake! Looks so-so, but taste of lemon is strong, yet no worries about being sour or whatsoever.
Caramel Banana ($9.80) served with sliced bananas, homemade salted caramel, topped with icing sugar and freshly whipped cream. Waffle is crispy from the outer, and soft to the inner. Not forgetting the salted caramel, it will definitely make your eyes go "woah" with surprise!
Another waffle! Berry Good ($9.80) served with sliced strawberries and blueberries, topped with icing sugar and freshly whipped cream. This on the other hand, is inferior.
A place to sit back reading some magazines, while enjoying some drinks and pastries.
Noise level can be a little high due to its tight spaces, but if you come at the correct time, the cozyness will set you resting your butt there and typing away on your keyboard!

Salad can also be delicious too with the correct mixture of your favorite fruits and vegetables, and most importantly the sauce too!
Here are what we had for salad. In our bowls are only the base and toppings, as our grills and dressings are served seperately, by recommended by the outlet manager smile We all had the salad bowl ($7.90), which includes mesclun salad with 5 toppings and a dressing for finish! Grills are optional and chargeable.
They have 12 dressings in total. Wasahoney, Me so Spicy which taste and smell like our belachan, Red Island, Apple Cider Vinaigrette, Perky Sesame Ginger, Citrus, Honeyball, Manly Mango, Beachy Peachy, Wafu, Maple Peanut, and lastly, Balsamico with Olive Oil.
Char-grilled Prawns with Garlic ($3.00) and Butter-seared Pacific Dory with Parsley Rub ($3.00). Prawns are definitely fresh and crunchy, while dory fish is smooth and soft!
Chicken feast!!! Hahaha. Chicken Breast with Maple Infusion ($2.00), Chicken Breast with Fresh Herbs ($2.00), Char-grilled Cajun Chicken (2.00), and Grilled Teriyaki Chicken ($2.00).
We also had Aceto Balsamico Beef Cuts ($4.00), Ben's Beef Rub ($4.00).
If you are sick of eating salads and want some real carbos, they have the Olive Rice ($7.90) which comes with additional side salad and a dressing. Although the olive rice was cold when served, but the taste of it in your mouth is pretty defining!
Their salad are definitely of standard. Extensive menu and sauces to select from, does make one fill with anxiety to finish up the ordering, but also with a wider variety, one can also repeatedly visit them again and again to try out different mixings and sauces smile

Ordered US Nami-Karubi ($19.00), also known as Chuck Rib. Medium size around 80 grams. If this is not enough for you, they have large portion ($24.00), which is around 120 grams. Tender and juicy indeed.

Kinoko Hoiru-Yaki ($6.90), which is assorted mushrooms with butter. It comes wrapped in aluminium foil, and to be cooked directly over the barbeque stove for 7-9 minutes. Be warned of its buttery taste!

One of my recommendation is Sausage Moriwase ($15.80). With a choice of beef, chicken or pork, we went for the pork. Big, fat and flavorful sausage being sliced.

Oo-Ebi Yaki ($24.00), also Giant Tiger Prawn for Grill. Fresh and juicy tiger prawns. You can hear yourself crunching on it tongue

If you are one of those who do not wish to miss out ramen in a Japanese dining place, I can recommend Kuro-Buta Ramen ($15.80). It consists of pork, bean sprout, black pepper, and leek in pork-based soup.

Beef seems like one of their specialty, so do try to spare some money for their beef items when you are visiting them smile

For more details, please visit http://foodesteem.blogspot.com/2013/12/hoshino-coffee.html

"Hoshino" Blended Coffee ($5.80), which is roasted over open fire, producing a strong bodied flavor with pleasant sourness. Personally, I love the slight bitter taste, and the tad of sourness to wake my mind from the morning blurness tongue

Lobster Bisque Soup Spaghetti ($16.00). Of course, no lack of lobster taste, but I don't quite like it..

"Hoshino" Pot-Baked Curry Rice ($15.00). A simple dish, with curry over rice, broccoli, beef and sausage. Mixed it up with a near-raw egg, turned into a mushy bowl of crurry rice!

Matcha Softee ($5.80). This cone of ice-cream came free-of-charge if you are using Standard Chartered card for payment.

Pot-Baked Vanilla Souffle ($9.80). I really love this!!! Inside is like a perfect egg-tart custard, which is soft and fluffy! The sweetness of the custard is just awesome!

But for non-beef eaters, you are only limited to their spaghetti section...

For details, please visit http://foodesteem.blogspot.sg/2013/11/modern-asian-diner-mad.html

I was really enjoying myself with the mass variety of food! While spoilt for choice, I decided to get my butt rested at Modern Asian Diner, also known as MAD.

Wide and spacious seating area, and definitely able to accommodate to large group or probably some small-scale celebration and sorts. We were guided to an empty table right away, despite during weekends. Knowing that it's our first time here, we were taught how to place the order, interestingly.

Crispy bun with Salted Egg Yolk Filling ($4.80). Comes in a standard quantity of 3 pieces, and to be eaten piping hot, of course. Not too salty at all, and I would say its nicely done!

Eggs Benedict ($14.00). Probably parma ham eggs benedict, runny egg yolk and soft bread. Quite a nice brunch to have if you are a yolk-lover.

Spicy Miso Pork Belly Sandwich ($14.00). Pork belly is not hard, and quite easy to cut and chew.

Took some time to arrive, the Steamed Black Angus Beef Siew Mai ($6.20). I thought it was pretty unique and special, thus ordered it. It tasted much like our usual siew mai, and beef fillings are bouncy.
