Dinner Out!  Cry Jan 04, 2013   (Related Review)

Pizza Hut at Jurong Point should review their staff's efficiency and manpower shortage, especially during peak period.

Food was served cold, perhaps due to PH eve. They have to improve on this seriously.

Ocean Catch Pizza was the most appetizing of all! Followed by the spicy drumlets. Visit them off-peak, you will get better service and warm food

Dinner Out!  Cry Dec 19, 2012

I didn't really have a good impression of MOF after visiting it two years back. We decided to go and try it again at the Jurong Point branch. The sushi were freshly served. The half chicken which I ordered was crispy but meat was a bit tough. The coleslaw serving was huge! The baked potato was not done well - too hard and little bacon bits were sprinkled on top. What's the worst thing when you are having a western meal for dinner? There's NO MORE chili sauce. Omg, I can't believe it as it was only 8+pm and they ran out of chili sauce and they did not even bother to go to FairPrice (which was nearby) to top up their chili sauce. I will not visit MOF ever again.

Brunch Out! :) Cry Dec 10, 2012

We were enticed with the all-day breakfast served by Epicurious. It was our first visit to the restaurant. As mentioned in many other reviews, the restaurant would be packed during morning and noon. Crowd flooded to the restaurant for its all-day breakfast. We reached around 1.00pm and they already ran out of pancakes and egg benedicts. Hence we did not have a chance to try them. The restaurant was rather small too. My friends ordered some baked eggs with hams which cost around $14.30++ and we also ordered an apple crumble with ice cream topping to share ($8).

We waited for 30-35mins before our food came. With much anticipation comes disappointment. The baked eggs were so salty and the potatoes tasted so normal. Although the price is slightly lower than other places, the food didn't taste good. We wondered why so many people came to try and we thought perhaps its located at a prime spot with all the private residential surrounding it.

The ice cream tasted good. However the apple slices tasted so sour! Swensen's apple crumble tasted even better than theirs. Overall, we will not visit the place again. There are better brunch places out there.

Tea Time!  OK Jan 04, 2013

So much hype about Twelve Cupcakes, I decided to give it a try. Ordered their highly sought after Red Velvet Cupcake ($3.00) and a cup of latte ($3.80). Size of the cupcake is extremely small. The cheesy cream on top tasted good but not the cupcake itself (a bit bland). I prefer Piqué Nique's Red Velvet Cupcake. Their latte was not thick enough and they do not offer healthier choices of milk like low fat or non- fat. Perhaps they should consider having the option since most of us are more health-conscious these days. Service was prompt.

Dessert Time! OK Dec 29, 2012

Desserts' a must after a fulfilling dinner! However, Lucky Desserts disappointed us! Desserts are supposed to be sweet but they do not serve really sweet desserts. We ordered Sesame Paste with Beancurd and Purple Rice desserts.

I did not finish mine as it wasn't sweet enough. Perhaps they can add 10% more sugar to their desserts. Service wise was prompt
and staff were friendly.
