I love their mash potato and baked rice. The mash potato comes on a big plate, with some brown seasoning topping. The mudpie is quite famous at new york new york, so we tried it too. This is the first time I had ice cream with mudpie, and it was very interesting. However, I still prefer hot desserts like lava chocolate cakes etc.

I went to Lingzhi Vegetarian Restaurant to try some vegetarian cuisine. They serve fresh fruit and veg juices with honey or maple syrup added. I tried their mushroom with kailan. It was added with the the mini chinese white vegetable. The braised king oyster mushrooms is tasty and very filling. The vegetarian roast duck is made of mock meat, which is very real and tasty. For soup, we ordered the beancurd soup.

When I was there last time, there was a promotion of 12 nett for buffet. They served Shabu Shabu and many types of sushis eg california roll, prawn sushi etc. The Shabu Shabu was just like the normal chinese kind of steamboat. Lots of food, and the quality was quite okay too, a very economical meal for an entire family.

After hearing such great raves of the rice here, we decided to try it. It is true. The chicken is tender and well-cooked. The rice is soft and very fragrant. The most important component is, to me, the sauces : their chilli and garlic sauces are really good and fresh, not those that are kept for days. The price is very reasonable for such a good dish, but in my opinion, still not competitive enough as compared to my favourite chicken rice stall at a hawker centre.

After a swim, we went to try this place. We ordered the famous black squid ink pasta. It cost about $20+ per plate. It was delicious pasta. Flavourful, with fried cod added at the side. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu. About $10+ per piece. The mascaphone cheese portion was quite fresh.
