Reasonably priced pizzas Smile Nov 11, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Italian | Pasta

The pricing for this pizza delivery is reasonably priced as compared to other pizza restaurants. The thin crust pizzas are great and I love the turkey bacon & mushroom pizza, it just has the right crunch and taste. The salt & pepper squid were also well-loved by all of us and the chicken wings are good as well.

Take note that they only accept cash and are currently providing 1 bottle of 1.5 litre soft drink free for every $40 purchase. Another thing to note is that they are open only from 10.30am.

Great ambience for Japanese food Smile Nov 11, 2011

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

It's been years I had gone to Sun with Moon. The menu has definitely changed and we had many options to choose from for our dinner. There were 3 of us, and we decided to order to share our food. We ordered a potato salad, which has fried chicken chunks, this dish tasted delicious and we like the mixture of it.

The special dish of Sun with Moon is this pot of rice, we ordered teriyaki beef slices and it taste well as well.

The chirashi don with soft shell crab tempura was really good. We love the freshness and sweetness of the fresh sashimi on the chirashi don, it includes scallop sashimi, salmon, avocado, eel, tamago, ikura and fish roe. All tastes so delicious and appetizing.

The original cheesecake tofu is still as great, the texture, the taste is superb. However, it was not presented to us in the usual little bird cage. We see it being served to other tables though, hence we see a non standardisation over here.

Great buffet for seniors Smile Nov 11, 2011

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Hotel | Kids-Friendly

This is the 2nd time I go to this restaurant for their weekend lunch buffet. The buffet starts from about 12nn to 4pm. That day's restaurant's crowd were all senior citizens, they were enjoying their companionship and the food served. This is also one of the reason we go for the 2nd time, the food served on the buffet spread are suitable and appetising to my parents as they may not like too much of the western and international spread. The local spread here attracts the elderly, and we are also pleased with them.

The laksa with cockles, fried chicken wings and haineses chicken were still great as per the last time. This time round, I enjoyed the cheese sandwich, simple, yet the cheddar cheese in the sandwich taste so savory.

Other than the good food, they really have great customer service towards serving the guests. We were also pleased that our 4 yr old nephew was not charged for the child price, We will definitely be back when we want reasonably priced local spread buffet.

Rise Breakfast Buffet OK Nov 05, 2011
Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Hotel | Buffet

The breakfast buffet has a wide spread of international food. I love all breakfast dishes, be it western or asian, hence I have difficulty to try out all dishes.

They have smoked salmon and they taste so good, not too salty and the texture was just right. The chicken and veal sausages were not good. The dumplings soup was good, the ingredients were fresh. The glutinous rice taste very good too.

They have many other dishes such as cereals, yoghurts, all types of eggs, fried yee mee, porridge, cheese and many many more!

Heard that the Rise buffet is only served to hotel guests, I'm not sure if they accept any other guests not staying at their hotel.
Great cheese!

Dim sum lunch OK Nov 05, 2011
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Dim Sum

The fried rice was apparently too oily for us, or else the taste was great.

The siew mai, ha gao, pan fried carrot cake were good, nothing extraordinary. The pork liver porridge was really special with the pork liver cut in such big piece size.
Great! This is so Great!

Great! This is so Great!

The "liu sa bao" - custard filled buns were the best dish of the day, the color of the buns stunned us when they are put on our table. We were joking that the color was such because it was halloween! smile As seen in the photo, the custard was really smooth and great! It oozed out when I took my first bite on it.
