How can anyone not tried this famous Bao Gong XO Fish Head Bee Hoon yet? That is this stall signature dish. I ordered mine without the brandy and it still gets me craving for more. At one look, it may looks like some normal fish bee hoon but their broth surprisingly does not contain milk but is made fully from fish stock, bones and the skill of wok! It's simply delicious. Their fish is not the usual thin slice fishes but it's big chunks of snakehead fish. Add on just $2 for some XO brandy to be added and this must be informed before hand during ordering. For a fuller flavour, opt for fish head broth as it's richer compared to the fish slice broth.

When my friend asked me to suggest a place for dinner which is neither too expansive nor have to wait for too long, Kim Gary is the first restaurant that comes to my mind without fail. Styled like a Hong Kong teahouse, this restaurant has a simple yet cheerful decor. All the tables are placed fairly close together, if you are lucky enough, you might get a nice seat by the window. There's a huge variety of value for money dishes ranging from noodles, baked rice, hot plates, mushroom rice, toast, etc in the menu.

As usual, I always ordered their borsch soup and shredded pork and fried egg with Chinese Mushroom rice. This two dishes are concluded by me their most delicious dishes. The hot borsch soup brings warmth to me immediately and since it's Hong Kong style, tomato were used instead of beetroot. There's no meat inside instead it's full of other vegetables ingredients. Very nice. Their shredded pork and fried egg with Chinese Mushroom rice is simply tasty. They also added sweet corns at the top to further enhance the flavour of the dish. Shredded pork meat is chewy and juicy with the juicy sweet corn. It's really an enjoyable meal.

My conclusion for Kim Gary is that it's a nice casual hangout place with friends, since the extensive menu can cater to everyone's taste bud and the price is reasonable too.

Bought this Snow-Skin D24 Black Durian Mooncake with my friend at the annual Takashimaya Mooncake Fair instead of their actual outlet. The normal price for a box of 4 pieces of this mooncake cost $54 while it cost $48.60 at the fair. I actually haven't heard of this brand until my friend strongly recommended me to try it. She told me that their snow skin Durian Mooncake is a must buy and is considered a favourite by many of her colleauges. It was super crowded at their booth with everyone rushing to try a piece of the durian mooncake. They have many different kinds of durian mooncakes for different preference. Generally, their snow skin durian mooncakes are more of the pure durian pulp kind so it's really like eating the real durian flesh wrapped in a skin. The difference with this black snow skin is that it's less sweet compared to the normal snow skin D24 durian mooncake. The snow skin is very smooth and it seems to melt away with the durian unlike some kind that sticks to the mouth. After tasting it, now it's my turn to highly recommend this to my other friends.

Went to anchorpoint for lunch the other day and was surprise to find what used to be Sweet Talk has changed into another bubble tea store called Teablog. Perhaps, it's their marketing strategy as people will be curious and want to try out when they see new store. However, I was wondering is it that Sweet Talk just change its name? Cause when my bubble tea came, the cup still writes Sweet Talk. When I asked the staff, he only say it's the same people from whom he collected the goods so he's not so sure also.

My honey red tea is blended just right with a great amount of chewy tapioca pearls. It's not too sweet and able to satisfy my quench of thirst and craving for flavoured drinks. Love it.

Instead of the usual Bandung we drink that is made from mixing rose water with condensed milk, Riche Beans cleverly replaced the use of condensed milk with freshly brewed soybean milk. This turned the widely perceived sweet and unhealthy drink into a nutritious beverage. I add on another 50cents and I get a great deal of pearls added to my drink. The taste of Bandung did not get covered up instead, I can now taste two different goodness in one drink, the rose syrup and soybean milk. Addictive drink.
