Tasty Ramen Smile Oct 26, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Ramen

When friends introduce about this place... Excited to try.

Tips#
1) Go during non peak hours;
2) Ensure all your friends are arrived as they are quite strict in this so that you can be seated as the restaurant space is quite small.
3) No chicken oil for the ramen. Less chicken oil is still too oily for me.

Self order sheet- Good for customer to choose what we want.

While waiting for the food to be serve you can enjoy the free flow of seasonal bean sprouts, hard boiled eggs.

Bean sprouts- Seasonal very well & best for those who like to eat bean sprouts.

Drink:
Japanese Green Tea Cola- A must to order & very refreshing.

Ramen:
1)Autumn - Very Japanese n the soup is very thick. Order less chicken oil but still find it is too oily. Seasonal egg is Tumb up. Noodle is cook just nice not too hard & soft. Meat is tender n not fatty.

2) King- Very big portion, Seaweed is nice to go with the soup. Worth the $$$$.

While waiting for the Hokkien Mee... To pass the time order 10pcs of chicken statay.

Tips: Min order is 10pcs. Quite crowed during dinner time best time to go is around 5plus as not much crowd.

Service: Good & Polite
Taste: Chicken is very tender, juicy & seasoning very well. Uncle had BBQ it very well not over cooked.Peanut sauce is good to dip with the chicken statay.

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

Tips: Best to order a beer to go with the seafoods. To call to make reservation as it is quite fully book.

Boss of new ubin seafood is very friendly just call n book the dinning area- outdoor or indoor(air-con room), provided indoor is not fully book.

Chilli Crab- A disappointment with the chili crab as the gravy is too starchy. Had feedback to the boss.
White Pepper Crab- A must to order, the crabs are very fresh n it blends very well with white pepper.
Hokkien Mee- A must to order the gravy is so delicious n it blends well with the noodles. It comes with fried pork skin(It is ok to eat unhealthy sometime).
Fried chili Egg Plant- Melt in the mouth
Salted Egg Squid- Very generous with the salted egg.
Teochew Oh Ni- Not sweet a must to order.
