With a name that stands for Thank God It’s Friday, it’s not surprising that my friends and I decided to come here on a Friday to celebrate the weekend! Had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Quesadilla which is loaded with tons of calories as the Quesadilla is fried with Parmesan cheese, but they're probably worth it as it tasted oh so sinfully good! The Jack Daniels ribs are coated with a wonderful smokey marinade which contains...you got it, Jack Daniels whiskey. Be prepared to get your fingers sticky from the glaze!

Three words: Irish Lamb Shank. Tender, falls apart at the pull of the fork, paired with a hot, thick and tasty gravy, stewed carrots and onions, what’s not to like? My only complaint is that the piping of mashed potato should be bigger! Their desserts are good too, try their cheesecakes. My long time favourite has got to be their Marble Cheesecake, it's a nice smooth blend of chocolate and vanilla all in one.

One of my family’s go to places for seafood! We love having the Chilli crab and always order the fried mantou to mope up the sauce. Over the years, the management has added bits of improvement here and there and now there's an air-conditioned area that you can choose to eat in instead of the usual outdoor area that we have been accustomed to in the past. A nice option to have in our sweltering weather!

Chocoholics unite!  Smile Apr 18, 2013

Talk about chocolate overload (if there’s even such thing!) There Chocolate Soufflé is TOO DIE FOR! Incredibly light yet the chocolate hit is so strong! We had this chocolate drink called the ‘Suckao’ and had lots of fun melting the chocolate bits in the heated milk and sucking the yummy hot chocolate through the straw. This place is indeed for chocolate fans and even if you're not one, be careful, you might just be converted! smile

Fruit beers anyone?  Smile Apr 18, 2013

Tucked away in the small shopping centre in Serangoon Garden's My Village is casual Western restaurant Relish. I’ve been wanting to try it for a while since I heard the burgers there are good. Tried the Soft-boned Char Siew Pork Open Focaccia Burger and it tasted heavenly! The char siew was tender and practically falling off from the bone so I had no problems removing it at all. The sauce was just right; not too sweet and extremely savoury. I enjoyed it very much. You have to try the fruit beers they have there! I had an apple flavoured one and it was so delicious and refreshing to drink!
