Hong Kong Egg Tart Smile Feb 21, 2013
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Desserts and Cakes

The piping hot egg tart really makes my day as the crust is crispy on the outside and the custard is smooth and soft on the inside. The egg tart is also not too sweet and does not leave an after-taste after eating it. While chewing, you can smell the aroma of the custard. This a definitely a must-have snack for the afternoon tea. Hence, I would strongly recommend this dessert as it is a good tea-time snack. smile

Tempura Smile Feb 21, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Sushi/Sashimi

My favorite dish in this restaurant is their Tempura as it is deep-fried to perfection that it is not too oily and it is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. There were also various types of side accompanying it, for example, their udon noodles is also a great choice to eat it with their tempera as their udon noodles is very springy and chewy. The broth of the noodles is also very tasty and light.

Claypot Rice Smile Feb 21, 2013

The huge chunks of chicken and chinese wax sausage placed on the claypor rice really whets the appetite of one. This claypot rice is tasty and flavourful. The most special part of this claypot rice is that they uses charcoal throughout to cook the rice. This allows the rice to be fragrant and at the end, there will also have those crispy rice bites that my family and I will fight for it. tongue

Phai Thai Noodles Smile Feb 21, 2013

Phai Thai Noodles is one of my favourite because it is tasty and nice. The phai thai noodles is fried to perfection with the springy prawns and chicken meat. A squeeze of the lime juice gives the noodles a tangy flavour that whet your appetite. Their specially made chili is also a good condiment for the spicy-lovers as the springy phai thai noodles is best accompanied by a dash of chili.

Fruit Cake  Smile Feb 21, 2013

This is a must-have cake because it is a healthy fruit cake and with the wide variety of fruits topped on the cake, I am at eased eating the cake and does not need to feel that guilty as it is much healthier compared to other cake. The cake is made of the vanilla sponge with some fresh cream spread over the cake and the cake is moist on the inside. With the pistachios bits on the cake, it helps to add some crunchiness to the cake. This is a must-have cake for the weight-watchers. smile
