When I saw the drinks menu, I visualized it to be the usual black grass jelly but it turned out to be... I thought the staff served me the wrong drink but it was their Thai Grass Jelly Drink. It taste peppermint and it is very refreshing with a little Thai touch.Tom Yam Seafood

The first time I stepped in, I was very impressed which was why I decided to drop by again. Unlike having Zi Char at the coffee shop or a ruin down shop house, Shi Wei Tian I believe is the first Zi Char restaurant that is really about the branding and focusing on the overall experience.

The food here is of standard, the environment is spacious and it just make you feel comfortable plus the service here is quite good.

I will definitely return again and again.

Actually on the day itself, I was dying to try their steamboat buffet which is back on their menu again until end of Dec but I overlooked the timing. The steamboat buffet is only available from 9.30pm onward. What a waste I didn't manage to try it...!

Nonetheless, I was more than happy to explore their menu. We ordered the Curry Fish Head and the 3 Cup Chicken.The Curry Fish Head comes in a very big portion more than enough to feed 5 people. The Curry Fish Head at Shi Wei Tian will definitely leave you an impression! It is sweet and spicy, you just feel the kick. I will suggest if there's only the 2 of you, unless you are really really hungry else don't order this dish as you will end up wasting food as the portion is really big.The 2 of us just managed to clear one quarter of the portion which I was very sinful for. Else, I will suggest Shi Wei Tian to come out with a smaller pot of Curry Fish Head suitable for 2 maybe for $10 Then I will definitely drop by every week or every 2 weeks. The seasoning for the 3 Cup Chicken is right, there's Chinese wine added and it is very fragrance just that the chicken portion is too thick which makes it difficult to chew and the fragrance can't penetrate to the middle part of the chicken.

What I love about Awfully Chocolate is because it is a local brand, I just like to see the sticky label that says "Made in Singapore".

Father's Day is near the corner, you might want to order a cake from Awfully Chocolate which is awfully nice.

It takes a lot of effort to finally have a meal here at the Holland V outlet! Their hotline is too difficult to get through to make reservation for the steamboat which is too popular. Finally I got through the line and I was offered a 10pm time slot for the steamboat. Thus, be sure to call in earlier to make advance reservation.

Okay, as we reached a lot of people are actually waiting outside to get directed to their tables - all for the FREE flow of Xiao Long Bao! Once we are seated, the waitress immediately asked us how many Xiao Long Bao we want. Subsequently, most of the tables surrounding us were enjoying their Xiao Long Bao which really worth the trip and the effort.This weird friend of mine actually ate the meat but left the skin.As for the soup base we have the chicken and Ma La which is the wrong choice. The Ma La is too chili hot for us and end up we just stick to one side of the soup.
