Home-made Lemon Tea

This drink stall go for the extra mile, they actually put slice lemon inside the drink and it is rare to find it at most coffee shops as it is an extra work and extra cost.

I patronize this stall since my secondary school days and the lemon tea is still the same as it is. It bring back the memory I have somehow, it remind me of how a group of us walked from my secondary school to this coffee shop to have lunch under the hot sun. Back then to have a sip of the lemon tea is so heavenly after the 10 minutes walk from school.

It is a sweet and sour affair for me. smile

Surprising Good Smile Aug 21, 2011

This is my second time to Dome as Dome is not that widespread like most of the Cafe chains. The first time I patronized Dome, I wasn't that impressed at all but this time round Dome just make it to one of my favourite chain.

The setting at Dome is Westernize.

Dome offer magazines and newspapers for your pleasure reading while waiting to be served.

Their menu is one of the less quantity but good quality - the range of food and beverages are limited but unique; not that similar to most of the restaurants or cafes.

Teriyaki Baked Rice $11.50

The bake rice is really really flavoursome, the rice blend with the Teriyaki sauce and the fat free chicken give a very pleasant surprise underneath the fish flakes. If you have this Teriyaki Baked Rice here at Dome you will know it's distinctiveness compare to other restaurants or cafes. The portion of the baked rice is perfect not too big, good enough to fill you.

Dome Sundae $8.20

My sis had this and I had one mouthful of it. If you take a closer look at it, it is actually empty in the middle, kind of interesting! I don't know how they do it! While you are in the mid of having the ice cream, the ice cream will start to melt and it further enhance the chocolate syrup and that make it heavenly for chocolate lover!

Cafe Vienna $5.60

I like the presentation of the drink, the glass used with the hook handle is one of its kind. The coffee itself is not added with sugar and there's no sugar or any sugar syrup served with it but they served it with biscotti one kind of sweet biscuit so you are suppose to eat one bite and have one sip of coffee.

New York Cheese Cake $5.90

I didn't plan to have any dessert but having tried the Dome Sundae I was quite tempted to have it. At the bottom of the Cheese Cake, there's bits of almond chips.

All in all, every dish is special and they don't go with the norm. Even their pricing is one of the kind - they don't round it up to $0.50 or a dollar if you notice.

Domino's Pizza is the first thing on my mind when it comes to delivery nowadays because of the good experience I had the first time round I ordered from them. Also, because of the attractive promotions keeps them on the top of my mind.

This time round I had the "half and half pizza" in large, Classified Chicken and the other half was customized version both with Top Secret sauce which is an aromatic of creamy, cheesy flavours with an unmistakable garlic zest.

It was so heavenly!

I chose the crunchy thin crust which was super thin, if you are real hungry better opt for the New York crust else the classic hand tossed.

It only took them 30 minutes to reach my door step! Most importantly, the delivery man was so polite he even said "enjoy your meal!"

No 1 Thai Steamboat - MooJaa Smile Jan 31, 2013

Categories : Thai | Restaurant | Buffet | Mookata

MooJaa is relatively new but really one that is impressive! Moojaa pride itself to be the no. 1 Thai Steamboat place and it really did live up to its slogan.

The boss demonstrated hospitality very well throughout our meal, we felt it and it was one of the unforgettable experience. He asked a couple of questioned to survey and he's real friendly. He even went to the extend to help us placed all the ingredients into the pot and BBQ - kudos! Perhaps, we were the only customers then as we went in around 5+pm on a weekdays and got to enjoy the luxury of his service. smile

The table is specially designed with adequate depth and ventilation if you realize. So that the place is not so smoky and you don't stink as much with the BBQ smell.

We went for the buffet which cost roughly $30-$35 per person. What's special is they serve abalone and scallop!

All the ingredients are fresh and the meat is juicy and well marinated!

It is not plain rice BUT Chicken Rice! Another wow wow wow~ (impressed).

The portion of the meats serve are in small slices so it is not chunky and easier to cook plus it taste extremely nice!

After awhile, the soup taste really POWERFUL lah!

Overall: The place that definitely worth a visit!
