Awesome health food! Smile Jun 02, 2015

Categories : American | Bakery | Café

Those living in the East of Singapore may be familiar with East Manhatten Bakery, started by Master Chef Mr John Wee who had a profound interest in baking. After spending a year in Manhatten, New York learning the fine art of American baking, East Manhatten Bakery was born, serving freshly baked authentic, artisanal bread, tarts and cakes.
Last year, East Manhatten Bakery Cafe was opened in the West of Singapore at Lorong Kilat serving not only bread but also many other signature dishes.

I highly recommend the Salmon Quinoa for a gluten free meal. Fish is crispy on the outside but extremely tender on the inside, served with very delectable creamy mushroom sauce.

The Lobster Bisque soup was very yummy and additive, definitely worth a try too!!!

Excellent beer can chicken Smile Dec 15, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Roasted Meat

We love how tender and perfectly grilled the beer can chicken was. Meat easily fell off the bones and when infused with the aroma of the beer, this is definitely one of the best beer can chickens so far in Singapore.

Main dishes could be mixed and matched and customised to your liking. They serve a a fusion of Japanese + Chinese style dishes coupled with side dishes as well as alcoholic beverages.

Good place to have a decent meal and some beer after work with friends.
We love their beer can chicken which turned out so juicy, tender and grilled to perfection. Beer and chicken essence were also extracted out for our consumption.

Mains can be mixed and matched to suit everyone's taste buds.

Excellent place for a decent meal, drinks and get together time with friends.

Authentic Indonesian food Smile Oct 08, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Indonesian | Restaurant | Halal | BBQ

IndoChili Indonesian Restaurant serves top notch traditional Indonesian food with a rich heritage. The owner was inspired by her grandmother and came up with dishes infused with lots of herbs and spices which are beneficial to health and yet very delicious!
Some of the dishes which i recommend:
Oxtail soup is really robust and I truly enjoyed it.
Tumpeng Mini, rice was extremely fragrant and meat of the chicken very tender too.
Their grilled platter is something worth trying as well. Grilled pomfret covered with sweet sauce is very tantalizing.

Categories : Malay | Chinese | Coffeeshop | Chinese Soup

Precious Bak Kut Teh, a newly established restaurant serving rare, authentic Klang style Bak Kut Teh in Singapore! Must try their special DRY bak kut teh!

Also special is their sweet and sour pork trotters which adds a twist to the traditional vinegar pork trotters. It has a tinge of spiciness and very aromatic asaam flavour.

Bak kut teh soup is concocted from a special selection of 11 herbs.

Categories : American | Spanish | Bars/Lounges | Restaurant

The Reading Room is a book cafe by day and has a wide range of books spanning every genre. By night, it becomes a bar where you can relax and have a couple of drinks.

Simple, comfort food is served here and they are mostly made from scratch. We totally love their Australia Lot Burger which was juicy and perfectly cooked and Tiramisu which was home made and so delicious!

Many of their food are home made and made from scratch, be sure to enjoy comfort, simple but wholesome food over here.
