Love the wide selections at Momiji Japaneses Restuarant! At the moment, they are having the oysters festival from now till end of 2014.
Oysters Festival

Oysters Festival

On top of the Oyster Festival, Momiji Japanese Restaurant will be having wholesome of Buffet Christmas delights like Honey Glazed Turkey Ham, Turkey Breast Teppan Yaki and many more! The Christmas delights will be available from 19 December 2014 - 1 January 2015 only. Do note the price differences during this period.

Ready to eat food section, it also includes Tempura dishes and Yakitori sticks.
Some of the dishes has turned cold, so keep your eyes out for out-of-the-stove ones. What's more is that there is free flow of Sapporo Beer and Haagen Dazs ice-cream! Eat till your heart contend! smile

Don't be mistaken with Arbite @ Serangoon Gardens, though they are sister company, they have different concept of food as well as layout. Over at A for Arbite, the classroom inspired atmosphere just gives it a more casual, back-to-school feel. One thing I love about A for Arbite is their generous portion of food! like
Zita pasta, salted egg, crab meat, chilli, deep fried soft shell crab and curry leaf oil.

Zita pasta, salted egg, crab meat, chilli, deep fried soft shell crab and curry leaf oil.

The dishes are all created by adding fusion to local delights, such as Salted Egg Crab Pasta. A photo worthy dish, the name itself draws our anticipation! The ideal way of having this is to mess it up in order to get a good proportion of salted egg in each bite. Somehow I would prefer penne paste added to this dish, probably because the length of zita pasta is longer and it gets too much.

If you are looking for something out of the norm, you can try A for Arbite for a change smile

SYNC Korean Fusion Bistro powered by Samsung is located in the west area, right at Jurong East, Westgate Mall. It can be linked from Samsung store which is situated at Level 1 of Westgate Mall, or you can access through their main entrance at Level 3. The crafted menu is an infusion of Korean cuisine and Western cuisine.

Some may think that certain dishes' combination is weird, well I have my doubts previously too. But it turned out surprisingly good! Such as Gamja Tuikim: fries topped with kimchi and nacho cheese and Topokki: Korean rice cakes with fish cake and bacon.

Besides the average Korean mains, I would strongly recommend the desserts! They have one of the better Matcha (green tea) lava cake. Thumbs up smile If you are looking for something out of the norm, you may try the White Chocolate Taro or White Chocolate Red Bean lava cake.
It cost $7.90 and it comes with a scoop of ice cream

MEDZS serves Mediterranean cuisine and is one of the biggest variety in Singapore.

MEDZS @ Clifford Centre offers all-day dining menu and their breakfast items are from 8am to 11am daily. They are also one of the first bars in Singapore to offer the latest Kirin Frozen Fruit Beer.

Foie Gras Burger, also known as MEDZS Signature Burger [$19.90] is the bomb! I love that the foie gras goes really well with the beef patty and sauce, it compliments each other. Like how crispy the bun was too! It is definitely a challenge to have a bite of everything, thus I have it layer by layer haa.

The Kirin Frozen Fruit Beer comes in Original, Strawberry, Lychee, Peppermint, Mango and Peach. That is some icy foam at the top!
Easily a ladies favourite

The meal wouldn't be complete without something sweet! Remember to try the MEDZS Signature Rainbow Cake [$6.90]! I love how lovely the pastel colours are and they are so evenly spread, it tasted like an ice cream cake instead of sponge cake (in my opinion). Though there is a layers of cream cheese but it is not creamy at all. One of the best Rainbow Cake I have tasted till date.
It's no wonder why 8 Days would crown this as the BEST Rainbow Cake!

Wait no more, Gyoza-Ya has launched a fourth filling for their gyoza (dumpling)! - Pork, Vegetable, Prawn and now Red King Crab (Tarabagani). As the name, Gyoza-Ya, this restaurant is specialised in both pan-fried and boiled gyoza. Also as member of the Akashi Group of restaurants, Gyoza-Ya is sure to bring out the authentic Japanese taste from Japan to Singapore.

Red King Crab Gyoza is available in both Pan-Fried (Yaki Kani Gyoza) and Boiled (Sui Kani Gyoza) with Miso Dressing, priced at $7.80 for 5 pieces per plate.
There is limited quantity daily depending on availability of their Tarabagani. The gyoza are made freshly everyday.

My personal favourite drink is Kuri Lemonade (Japanese Cucumber with Lemonade). A very refreshing and smoothing taste! Another new item added, Tonkusei Tonkotsu Udon (Special Pork Bone Soup with Thick Noodle).
