Long overdue, I came here for my friend's birthday. If I wasn't invited then I'd never know there's this kind of lane with all restaurants; very chic lane indeed!
Anyhow, since it was his birthday, so I was preparing my tummy far long and reminding him "I can order
aaaanything right?" without shame. Thank goodness he gave a green light so it was a gastromonic journey from appetizer to dessert!
Sadly I didn't take any pictures, but what we ordered first on the table for appetizer was the bruschetta and garlic bread. It's not too special, I knew I was scarfing it like mad since I was hungry. But the tomatoes were freshly diced on top. Refreshing!
For the main course, I ordered their special menu of the day, their
tagliatelle ($26++). This is a type of pasta size, which is flat and wide in its width. It was with some meat, which I've forgotten. It was my first time to try this type of pasta and dish, but truthfully, it really tasted delicious. I remember it had green sauce, not spicy, but it was goooood. It's a must try since it's their special!
For the dessert, again, I chose the special/recommended one on the list, must have that special star where the chef recommended. Although I don't exactly remember what it was, it was soooooo oozing good, I'm sure it was something chocolate and ice-cream.
However it was a nice place to chill and hang out in the evening with a good view. The food doesn't grow on you though, there's far more better Italian restaurants around...
