Morning supper! Smile Mar 31, 2011

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Hotel | Buffet

Well earlier today I was at Rise after MFW! They, I think are open for 24/7, and for the supper menu they had about 10 different things you could choose from.

My team ordered the burgers in beef, medium rare, and tuna burgers. It comes with curly and straight fries, and the curly had a better interesting taste. The burgers of mini-sized are just nice and perfect - ht e meat was really really thick in size, and it was oh so juicy!

The satay was really fat and juicy, really soft - it must be the best broiler chicken around! The dipping peanut sauce was well, not too salty or peanuty actually. Nothing beats peanut sauce from Indonesia of course!

Ah, it was tiring. The carbs serenaded my brain to sleep well!

steamed rice Smile Mar 31, 2011

Categories : Chinese | Dim Sum

A small snack to go, here's the nice place to take a change compared to go to McD or Chippy or any other taiwan fried stalls! tongue Here's the best famous pau seller with their glutinous rice and egg, it's small in size for $2, so it' just nice and piping hot to fill your 4pm crunch tum! It is hot and the taste is a bit bland for the rice, so add some soy sauce which to give the salty taste! smile

The best stall of minced meat fish ball noodle in the whole sim lim! Given with the Green Awards and other award which I forgot, for $3.50 which si a decent price for the aircon foodcourt with extra noodle portion without extra charge is super great.

The portion comes with noodle (prefer dry!) and with a bowl of like 4-5 smooth soft fishballs and fishcakes slice and gohyong - totally full house on the soup! And the noodles with the delicious sauce. Ah, it's just perrrrfect and really, they didn't get all stingy on portion size!

Or maybe since I came at a quiet hour at 5 this time! mad

Everyday Gelato! Smile Mar 30, 2011
Categories : Singaporean | Bakery

The nice cozy place which is revamped to be like a quaint cafe compared to the previous stall in Sunshine Plaza is a great place with such a cheap price for Gelato is the best place to meet! Like their tagline "where gelato lovers meet", i think it's just more than that - some tea time or chilling time at this place esp. on weekdays that are empty is seriously cozy.

It's packed with magazines on each table and water is free to take on your own/served at most times when the place is quiet.

The ice cream prices are super duper cheap: 1 scoop for $3, double for $4, and triple for $5. TIP: Go for the $5 then share with your friend - or really, eat it on your own, you're able to!! tongue

Baileys taste is really strong and their famous ferrero rocher flavored ice cream!

Square noodles! Smile Mar 30, 2011
Categories : Fusion | Food Court | Chicken Rice | Noodles

Instead of the usual long noodles, my friend, as agreed to share a portion of a big bowl of soup and ban mian, is to choose the square ones, mee hoon kway?

Well, it was my first time trying! Anyhow the staff was nice enough when I requested for a bowl, then they kind of picked it up that "would you like us to seperate the portion to two?" after that without me saying.

The taste was quite bland, so a saucer of soy sauce chilli and vinegarrrrrr adds a better zest fo the soup!! But it was filling - my tummy is getting smaller so that was just nice because the soup usually makes you bloated faster tongue
