Without hesitation, I asked for the dry version of the ban mian in mian kuey version (square noodles) because of the hot, hot, weather these past few days after my trip from Mustafa! Goodness gracious, how the noodle looked small and little compared to the usual full bowl of soup and noodles that it looked like a huge portion of noodle.

For $3, the usual style with egg, pak choy and a dash of garlic and an additional wanton was not giving any sickening too-full-over-flour-meals. The dry soup taste was rather sweet and I added more vinegar and soy sauce and it kinda muddled into the taste. It was a good break and for the price, it was a hearty portion!

Nothing comes out good this except how I could say its the best most sinful taste those Taiwanese street snack peddlers can ever make. How can they be such a genius over simple food but really, no good at all

Voted, praised, and awarded the best snack in my grade, this tofu fried sticks are like the no.1 snack to go for $3.5 (which is quite ex to say in this small packet).

Nonetheless, you can't resist. Once you take a finger, your cannot stop anymore.

The crispiness and spicy goodness with empty filling - as its the tummyless bouncy squishy tofu is just so apt and it could be the reason why I'm going to have sick heaty body in this weird weather.

After my graduation thing in Expo, T3 was the place to go after a poor snack buffet served after.

Not knowing anywhere else, we saw the stair sticker from afar and headed to Sakae Sushi afterwards for a pipin' bowl of ramen, to commemorate that its somewhat like a birthday after all, but far more important! It was my diploma after all hard earned, and after almost 5 hours of starving in the ceremony, good food is what I needed and flavorful broth is the best cure to any rambling tummy.

Ordering the standard sliced pork ramen for $14, I quickly dug in as there was the egg waiting! Sadly of course, SS is not the place to have your ramen fix as hello, Singapore got tons of original ramen places that just keeps on popping up, but the least to say that noodles were cooked al dente, broth was not as thick and flavorful (but hungry anyways) and vegetables were decent.

When the bowl came, it wasn't has hot as I expected as it was freezing cold from the expo and in the airport, so I asked for a reheat and I bet it was microwaved and not pot heated. If it was an original Japanese-head resto, I would get a lot of freebies from this. Japanese courtesy I adore! Hehe

I was enticed by the combo promotion featuring their congee and chee chong fun. ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I ATE THEM both!

in a mildly cool day eating hot congee would make me perspire, and with the good price to get them both. Getting the century egg congee with the chee chong fun, I first ate the porridge, which frankly has nothing too special. It was starchy however so at least it had kept its shape until the time i ate which was late lunch hour.

Chee chong fun was cold, as a closing, which just what I wanted. The sauce was a bit bland but a dash of soy sauced helped. Sprinkled with sesame, it was the norm to expect. At least, it gave me the fulfillment of the tummy needed and as I ate in haste, I did burn my tongue in the first round.

My cousin sis, a good eater too, brought me for such a good hideout just a block away from my house where I always passed but never gave a try because it looked too al-fresco and high expensive-y.

We had our tums filled with a good dinner popular choice and their unique dessert style.

Before watching WICKED, I had then a properly wickedly good healthy meal ending with a strawberry cheesecake sweetness.

His deep fried battered fish fillet - forgot the name of the fish - in potato wedges and salad was in a fresh and healthy proportion of meal. The big fillet fish, fried in herbs, was visibly seen in the fried skin, which added a delectable smell and properly soft, melting white meat in your mouth, with the flavored wedges hidden underneath the fillet which was utterly ghooood, and the fresh salad in light oil dressing. The meal was priced affordably in a chic corner of the city for $13.90.

In town, I tell you, can't find this price and place, anywhere else.

The chef, Jason, which my sis introduced and knew him well was only the one-man cook and coming in to say that "this is not your mere fish. Fresh water wish compared to the dory fillet which eats trash like catfish, this one eats clean hence the very white-colored meat."

I ate it off like there's no tomorrow as fish fillets are my home menu by day. Of course, as its more well done and far better in food styling than home cooked.

Desserts, desserts, desserts, hear hear. Their new style soft strawberry cheesecake has such a soft texture that it is creme brulee style cheesecake, as so to say, and approved by the chef of course (hooray, points for me there). That was the hot dessert. The other was the traditional sliced cheesecake strawberry, but in this case where you expect such thickness, this one was on the milky side where it isn't too salty and gives a fine, soothing not overpowering finish.

It was a good early dinner where we own the place with no one else and just the chef chatting and serving away. I'm not overrating this review, as this place is too good to be true.
