I love chillin' at toast box!

Ordered peanut butter toast instead of the pork floss one this time to try..
The peanut butter is rich and thick, complements well with the thick and fluffy toast... yumms.

The eggs are also not bad! Goes well with the toast and not forgetting my favourite yuan yang~

I think its pretty affordable for a <$5 meal. Furthermore, the ambiance at this outlet is really good.

In love with this happy drink Smile May 27, 2011

I fell in love with this drink.

Happy Lemon's Tea Latte with Brown Sugar Jelly($4) and I always order the JUMBO size.
It is a drink that keeps me happy, just somehow. The tea latte, which taste like super thick milk tea, is very rich and the brown sugar jelly just complements the drink so well! Say bye-bye to the old, tapioca pearls. lol

For just 4 bucks, its worth it!

Yuan Yang Smile May 15, 2011

I'm always a toastbox lover - the price is very affordable and it has this nice nostalgic environment that brings me back to the "Ah gou ah mao" days hehehe.

As mentioned earlier, I'm always lurking around in the city area, hence I decided to stay at Toast Box to have a cup of "Yuan Yang".

So far, I dare to say Toast Box serves one of the best Kopi up to date. The coffee they serve is thick, strong yet not je-lat.Just right.

This time, i went to have the "yuan yang", which is a mixture of coffee and tea. They serve it just the way I like it. Not too strong nor too bland. Furthermore, it's just $1.60 a cup. Sure, it might be a little more expensive than your regular cup of coffee but it's definitely much cheaper than places like starbucks and tcc. lol

Highly recommended!

Superdog Grill Chicken Burger Smile May 09, 2011

Worth the price.

My first time trying superdog. I would say it's pretty decent, the burger is really fresh, love the veg, mayo and the oh-so-tender grilled chicken. Definitely worth it for just $4.50. I ordered the grilled chicken burger for $4.50 and topped up an additional $3.50 for onion rings with a drink. So it's roughly about $8 in total.

One thing that I love about the burger is how "Springy" it is. It has this stringy texture that I almost thought I was having enoki mushrooms/mozerella cheese. Really nice. Even better than MACS imo!

The bread is soft and fluffy, and the vegetables are quite fresh and crunchy. No pickles nor tomatoes to spoil the burger. Awesome-ness.

Onion rings were mediocre though, tasted better ones outside. Should have taken the chili fries instead! ):

Oh, I chose Iced Lemon Tea for my drink. It's really nice, sweet, but not too sweet to my liking, just right. smile

Will patronize there again!

Seafood Aglio Olio Smile May 08, 2011

A rather mundane aglio olio. Ingredients were rather generous though, lots of prawns, scallops and such.

It's bland if you did not mix in any of their sauces. I recommend you to stir in some garlic sauce and sweet I've tasted better aglio olio.

Hmm, I believe it will be better to stick to their rice instead. (:
