What i like about ya kun is the price and the food they deliver. it is quite similar to toast box where they serve traditional local coffee and toast all day long.

What i heard was it started from a small hawker stall somewhere and today they expanded to more than 20 branches though out the whole singapore.

French toast is one of my favorite in Ya Kun. theirs aren't the same with how western did their french toast. It is less oily without any honey but they serve it with they stone aroma panda kaya which is also one of their signature item.

This will be my all time preferred breakfast place of choice.

it was rather disappointed that many thing from the menu are ran out of stocks especially for the cakes selection. And due to limited selection, we have to pick one of the common cake which is chiffon cake. It doesn't sounds delicious to me as we can get thee very dry chiffon cake anywhere we want.

I was amazed when they serve this cake in front of me and it looks like some premium chocolate cake. It was layered by cream that has little bit of alcohol on it, not too sweet and it was so satisfying! chiffon was so soft and light and i can't get enough of it! Why dint they put this as their signature cake?

I wouldn't have dine if if i dint make a visit to mandarin gallery which this cafe was situated quietly at the most upper floor of the building.

Jones the grocer is a famous food store concept, providing premium food with many selection and their very own restaurant. This place is always crowded and we waited for almost 30 mins to get a table for 2.

I have always have main course at the dempsey branch and is time to try something light instead of heavy meal. I had their signature sandwich which was served with yummy salad with balsamic vinegar. Very big portion and worth every penny. We also had coffee there and it was quite satisfying tea time to us. WIll visit this place for breakfast again.

Without a doubt, Mos Burger has some of the most unique and tasty options I've had at a fast food joint. On my first visit, I decided to go with the yakiniku rice burger.it is a Rice Burger features thinly-sliced marinated grilled beef with tendons and leafy lettuce sandwiched in a bun of grilled onigiri-shaped (triangular) rice patties. Which highly recommended for those who dine in MOS burger.

Burger portion was a tiny bit smaller than inspected, but it is good enough to fill up a tummy with healthier choice!

I grew up drinking soy bean milk and eating the traditional bean curd. Teck seng soya bean milk always have the long queue in tiong bahru market.

The soybean drink was too sweet, you can actually taste the syrup. I love authentic soybean without the sugar and that's why I make my own. Thats how i customized mine by asking them to separate the packaging. I love their bean curd too, smooth and silky taste with bait gingery sugar mix it so well.

The stall seller brings me back to my childhood. It's fresh, homemade and tastes exactly as it should.
