Bean Curd Smile Sep 28, 2011

I had the soya bean

chilled, it is super delicious. The best choice of dessert to have after dinner. The soya bean is just right, neither too sweet nor not sweet. The bean curd is very smooth, soft and silky and it just simply melts inside your mouth without having to chew it and the liquid just burst inside your mouth.

The taste and texture of noodle reminded me of the handmade-type served in little street corner in China which I loved to indulge in during cold winter nights. The pork chops are nicely cooked and the meat is well-seasoned and tender. They served the noodle in a large portion. The dan dan Mian was quite okay. The sauce is alright for me. It is very delicious, although there is only noodle, the sauce and minced meat.

Dan dan mian $6.30
Soup noodle with pork chop $8.80 Soup noodle with pork chop $8.80

Din Tai Fung OK Sep 27, 2011

ordered a Crispy prawn pancake $8.50 and Fried rice with pork & egg $8.50.
The end product of the crispy prawn pancake is exactly what the name describes! It is crispy, filled with prawns, and flat like a pancake! It tastes like deep fried prawn dumpling (those dipped in mayo served in dim sum restaurants). The fried rice is really homely and taste fantastic.

Western food  OK Sep 27, 2011

The chicken is very tender and it is very generous with the serving. The black pepper sauce goes very well with the chicken and the side dishes were marvellous. The cold potato salad is very chill and I am not sick of the taste. Overall, it is nice to consume however, the price is a bit expensive for a coffee shop.

Combo set with chicken patty and hoki fish with rice and a sprite. It makes a perfect set meal for dinner. The tender pink salmon fish in the inside is cooked perfectly with crispy bread crumbs on the outside and drizzled with tasty Salmon Mayo sauce to top it off. The chicken patty is tender and it is boneless.
