Ruyi, is the first fast-food Chinese restaurant to be introduced in Singapore by the Tung Lok Group. As I wanted to try something different and I ordered a stewed minced pork rice with soy egg (lu rou fan) $6.90 and a Ruyi Fried noodle $6.50. From my opinion, I feel that the price is a bit overrated and it does not leave up to the definition for fast food. It was supposed to be cheap and fast? The food was pretty average; however, the service was good. But I would not patronise the shop the next time.

Had my supper at Thasevi Food located at Jalan Kayu.
Ordered a Milo Chino which costs $2.20. It was cold and the drink is not too sweet, a strong milo taste with a lot of milk added. However, the serving is too small and they added too many ice cubes! Tissue prata which costs $4.30! It’s the most expensive tissue prate I ever had and the taste is average, moreover i cannot taste the butter and sugars are added separately. They simply charged $4.30 for just the shape and plain prate taste! I feel that i am being conned. Had cheese prate as well that costs $3, the cheese is well mixed with the prata. With Every bite I can taste the prata and the cheese. However, it is a little too salty. The Chicken Brayani costs $7 which has a piece of chicken and an egg. It added a lot of spices and I could hardly taste the rice, however, the chicken is tender and nice. Mee Goreng with a sunny side up that costs $4.50. It is very spicy, and I could not finish the dish. Overall, I think their foods are average and the prices are overated.

The ramen was served with a nicely boiled egg, some vegetables and a slice of meat. I feel that the amount of meat served was considered little. Texture of the noodles tasted fine. Egg was good though. The soup base tasted average and tasted peppery towards half of the bowl of soup. Nothing fantastic.

Boost - Juice Bars @ Jcube - All Berry Bang
It is a low fat smoothie made from fresh fruit and yogurt ice cream, blended together with ice. All berry bang comprises of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and apple juice. It’s a nice beverage but unfortunately, it does not quench one’s thirst. Also, despite containing so many different types of berries, there is still a lack in the “berry” taste in the drink. The smoothie is reasonably priced.

Dish tasted so-so. It was non spicy. The fish was topped with a sauce that tasted like the tomato sauce used for pasta. The baked potatoes were also average, nothing special from normal baked potatoes. There was a lack in dressing. Serve was good for one. I feel that the dish is overpriced for its quality.
