The Salad Shop  Smile Jul 29, 2012

Categories : Café

Wanting to keep a healthy diet, we decided to have salad for lunch as vegetables are light and healthy to the body. There is a wide variety of vegetables and ingredients to pick and mix. I ordered lettuce, croutons, corns, tomatos, chicken meat slices and peach mixed in thousand island salad dressing. It costs $11.90 for the bowl of salad which I feel is worth the money.

Edy Penyet - Rasapura Masters Smile Jul 29, 2012

After a lovely evening at Marina Bay Sands, we headed to the Rasapura Masters food court for dinner. I ordered the smashed grilled bbq chicken with rice from Edy Penyet stall. It costs $7.90 for the meal which I felt was a little pricey. The chicken meat was well grilled and tender, but the portion was small. The food court is filled with tourists mainly, but we still managed to find a seat quite quickly.

Ipoh Hor Fun  Smile Jul 29, 2012

Craving for some hor fun, we decided to head to Lau Pa Sat, Ipoh Hor Fun shop for lunch. I ordered the fried fish dumpling hor fun which costs $4. The fried fish dumpling is crispy on the outside and the meat is tender inside. The hor fun is tangy and tasted great when mixed together with the gravy. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and will come back to the same shop for more hor fun.

Chicken HotPot  Smile Jul 29, 2012

Being a fan of hot pots, I decided to try this cute Chicken HotPot restaurant in Nex Mall located at Serangoon Central. We went there on a sunday during lunch time and the place was really crowded. I ordered the small chicken hot pot stirred fry in soy sauce without spice and two bowls of rice. The portion was sufficient for two people to share. The bill came up to around $22.

Soup Broth Asia  Smile Jul 29, 2012

Categories : Fusion | Restaurant | Chinese Soup

Soup Broth Asia was having a promotion where all soups could be redeemed with the $5 voucher which they were giving out. With that, I only paid $2.90 for my Korean Ginseng soup as the original price was $7.90. It was really worth the money and we could see a substantial crowd with the ongoing promotion. There were 2 chicken drumsticks in the soup which tasted really delicious which came with a bowl of rice too.
