I ordered the chicken don from Takoyaki stall at the City Food Court. It costs $4.90 for a bowl of chicken don which came with the chawanmushi side dish. The meal tasted average overall as the rice was a little salty. I feel there was too much gravy on the rice. The portion was sufficient to fill the stomach. The chicken tasted average.

I ordered the red bean ice kacang which consists of mainly brown sugar, chendol and red beans toppings on the ice. It costs $2 for the dessert, a great dessert which was cooling to the throat on a warm day. The portion was quite huge and was enough for two people to share. It tasted a little sweet on the taste buds.

I ordered a plate of fried carrot cake which costs $3. The carrot cake was fry at the right temperature which enhances its crispiness taste. On the downside, it tasted a little oily. The portion was reasonable for two people to share. The chilli sauce eaten with the carrot cake tasted better as it masked the oiliness of the carrot cake.

I decided to try out the char kway teow which was a disappointment sadly. The char kway teow was oily and tasted too sweet. I felt like I was eating sweet sauce and oil. I didn’t like the food and managed to finish only ¼ of the portion despite being hungry. It costs $3 for a plate of char kway teow.

I ordered a plate of duck rice from Yu Kee Duck Rice Kway Chap from Koufu which costs $3.50. It was the happy duck rice set which came with the egg, peanuts and bean curd. The rice tasted average as it was a little salty. The ingredients portion was small though the rice portion was quite a lot.
