Somehow we found it Smile Oct 07, 2011

well

we suppose to take a bus out of holland village to dover for dinner after work..

somehow we did not know how come we get on to the wrong bus.. but to cut the story short..

we found a nice and value for $ place for makan!

i strongly believe that right now at this stage.. there is no more such good price

that is $3 for such a big plate of hor fun

- with pork.. 3 prawns.. squids .. egg... and white cabbages

and this would cost you $4 or $5 outside those normal stalls..

because nowadays the ingredients they put in is few pieces of chicken.. few vege.. and 2 prawns.. some dont even have egg.. and sauce does not even taste good enough..

this plate.. you definitely will finish everything including the soup!!

well next will be the steam dumplings

well the ingredient is so tasty and its more than the usual ones that is usually sold outside..

so definitely value for $

i hope this will sustain and maintain it forever hahaha

Tea Break Smile Jun 22, 2011

It was our primary school gathering.

After playing pool at Marina Square, we wanted to have a drink and perhaps some light food.

hence we went down to xin wang hongkong cafe, we had yuan yang cold drink (coffee mix with tea) taste great. and some of them had honey ice green tea.

i order a plate of Guo Tie Tim Sum. it taste good, not too oily. dip it with dark vinegar + ginger.. it will lighten up the meat taste.

I hope to out other other tim sum as well =) sorry only had 1 photo with me.

Yummy Dome Smile Jun 01, 2011

Had a dinner with my friend, super long since i last ate at Dome. And finally the day has come!

We had ordered a Sambal Crayfish Crab craw spag. I chose this type of pasta as i can enjoy the full taste of the sauce much more than the usual spag. Sad to say, crab was out of stock, hence it was replaced by prawns.

Overall tt taste great, not too spicy. I added some tabasco for some sort of spice and sour taste.

My friend ordered the sandwich. it was big and it has baron, ham, lettuces, tomatoes and sauce. served with chips and salad. overall not too salty, taste light and good

the banana choco mousse cake, looks wise not as good.. but taste great. thats the comments my friend gave.

Soup wise are taste good, we added black pepper too.

lastly, i had a chocolate ice cream choco drink.

overall, to summaries... its main course, added on - sets (drink + soup)..

changed my drink to choco drink instead of the usual drinks.

i love cheesecake

we ordered Peanut Butter Cheese cake and American Cheese cake

texture were creamy and very soft.. this was the first time i had peanut butter type of cheese cake. rather interesting.. its not too thick as the peanut butter is on top of the cake.

if there is chance i would like to try others too ^

Traditional wanton mee Smile Jun 22, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Hawker Centre | Noodles

Had lunch at Kovan Market Hawker place..

i miss the traditional wantoon mee with chili and ketchup with nice cha shu and wanton =)

price wise its cheap and good...

however, i wasn't sure if it was due to me asking for more ketchup and chili sauce..

the uncle put too much ketchup.. caused it to taste alittle sweeter than usual..

i would recommend more chili than ketchup
