Newly renovated at Orchard Road, this easy accessible hotel is an ideal venue for gathering with friends and family to have a nice relaxing meal. Was surprised by the nice cosy environment when we stepped into the restaurant. Service here are qualified under their 'five stars' category. Will definitely visit another time Food is also up to standard too. My verdict: 7.5/10

@ Sizzler, you will always get to enjoy yummy soups (especially their clam clowder and creamy chicken mushroom soups) . Their variety of salads are always top up promptly. Best for salad & soup lovers! If not enough, you can also top up up your buffet salad bar meals with different range of main courses @ affordable pricings. My verdict: 7/10

Wanton Noodles Smile Mar 31, 2014

This wanton noodle stall is very popular here at this Toa Payoh area, and always have queue during meals hours.  The stall is small but is clean and neat.

The uncle here is very friendly and fast in preparing the food.  I had their signature wanton mee dry which the noodles are very chewy and fresh, portion is reasonable as well.  The char siew meat is tender and not too dry, and the wanton is smooth and the minced meat inside is chewy and fresh as well.  The preserved green chilli is also very fresh and crunchy, which is really flavourful and goes well with the noodles.

The wanton soup is also fragrant but quite salty.  For the price of $4, is still consider reasonable.

Signature ChickenRice Smile Mar 31, 2014

Categories : Singaporean | Hotel | Chicken Rice | Bak Kut Teh

Not because of my friend, I would not have come to this posh restaurant to taste this $30 chicken rice.  The restaurant is cosy and spacious, and the service staffs here are very friendly and polite.

For this set of chicken rice, is really presentable and smells good!  Chicken meat is very tender and juicy, but the portion seen to be too little for this high price. THe chicken rice is very fragrant and not too oily, and the grain are dry and not soggy.  Chicken soup is super fragrant and clear, which is served really hot to our table.

Must have the minced garlic sauce which is flavourful and blend in well with the chicken meat.  for those love to eat spicy food, garlic chilli sauce is a must have as well.

Healthy food Smile Mar 31, 2014

Wanted to pamper myself with some really nice and healthy food from this Soup Spoon outlet at Tampines.  The restaurant was quite small and squeezy, but the area surrounding is still quite cooling.

Had bought the chicken mushroom wrap, which the wrap is quite thin and chewy, which is totally not oily. Inside is filled with generous amount of shredded cabbage, shredded chicken meat and sliced mushroom, super healthy and flavourful.

The clam chowder is served in a thick whole meal bread bowl that is really filling and sufficient enough to have it as a main course.  Paid $23 in total for this bill which is quite alright.
