Here at Koh Sen never ever be able to disappoint me with their creative food Chinse dishes.  This time I have bought 2 of their other signature dishes, which includes the Claypot Yong Tau foo and also the once a week available dish: Golden Dragon Chicken.

Restaurant is squeezy and alittle warm today, maybe is due to the crowded dining environment on this evening.  The restaurant staffs are friendly and helpful as well.  For the claypot yong tau foo, is definitely a must have.  Cooked with bean paste which make it so flavourful.  Even the simple item like brinjal with fishpaste has been deep fried and fish paste is very smooth and chewy.  Simmed till every pieces of items have absorbed the goodness fragrant from the bean paste, yumm!

Golden Dragon chicken, which has the usual tender and juicy chicken meat, but on top on this also added that really smooth and not too oily chicken skill that is mariniated with prawn paste and absorbed really every piece of chicken.  Yummy!

This restaurant is really relaxing as you can either choose to have your posh and expensive meal either outside the greenish fresh air outdoor environment or in the super luxuary high end design indoor environment.  Either way, will be able to delight you.

This time i have decided to settle down with the Settlement Brunch with sunny-side up, which priced at $24.  The sunny-side eggs is yummy and the egg yolk is not over cooked.  Whole meal bread is soft and have the fruit jam spread on it taste refreshing and healthy.

crispy bacon is a must have for this main course as it is not too oily and super crispy, sure be able to impress you.  Not to forget the baked bean which is nutritional and easy to eat.  Service was really friendly and polite as well.

It was really crowded here in this Japanese restaurant but I still managed to get a seat for myself after a long 15 minutes outside the restaurant.

The restaurant is quite warm and noisy due to it is too crowded with too many customers.  Restaurant layout is nice and cosy.  Service is very friendly and helpful too.

Have bought the Gomoku Kamameshi, which is the hotpot rice with seafoods ($12.80).  Salmon, prawns inside are very fresh but the portion was quite little.  Even the Japanese rice inside is also too little portion for me.  Taste was simple and no special flavour can be found in this dish except lots of japanese soy sauce taste.

Macha Parfait $6.80 is the green tea ice cream with some sweet topping.  Looks nice but too many cereal at the bother of this dessert and is too dry and not flavourful.

Yong Soon sure has one of the best you tiao out in town that you should not miss it if you happen to pass by Katong area.

Deep fried till really crispy and every mouthful of it can really taste the super fragrant of the mild 'five spicy powder' if i am not wrong, and it is also not too sweet nor very oily.  Inside is fluffy and soft in texture which whether you have it on its own or to dip into soy bean milk drink, both taste equally good!

For the price of ninety cent per pair, is cheap and good!  The stall uncle is also very friendly and fast in service.  Stall is clean and neat.

This new Zi Char shop is near in town and was recommended by my friend so I decided to check it out.  Reaching there you will already see a long queue there waiting for seats in the restaurant.

I took around 20 minutes of wait before I was offer a seat.  Bought 2 of their signature dishes to try.  Ginger chicken, which is charged at a super high price of $25 was really delicious!  Chicken meat is definitely tender and juicy and really surprise on how yummy this dish is with the slices of gingers cooked in it that make it so flavourful. Slight chilli also make it more appeitizing and added that extra kick to this dish.

Steamed pork with salted fish $14 has really sweet juicy pork used and the thin broad slices of salted fish did not make this dish sting, but added that mild fishy fragrant instead.  Even the gravy is yummy that blend in well with the meat.

Here the service was fast and friendly. Restaurant is quite squeezy and uncomfortable, but fortunately inside is still quite cooling.
