Umisushi Smile Jul 09, 2011
Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

The sushi sets from Umisushi are priced reasonable and taste equally good as well. Attracted by their neat setting and presentation and the service staffs here are also quite friendly. All sushi are freshly make every hours to ensure the quality of their sushi. Love their sushi sets as the range are interesting and the portion is quite alright and the taste is also satisfying. You may also pre-order with them for party and gathering as well. My verdict: 7/10

This deep fried chicken from Ayam Penyet Ria is a 'Must Try' for all deep fried chicken lovers. This restaurant actually has quite many branches islandwide for the convenient for the neighbourhood people as well for the office workers in town. The chicken is very tender and fragrant. The side dishes includes kang kong, deep fried tau kwa are equally good. Do note that their chilli is very hot and spicy! An impressive dish! My verdict: 7.5/10

Mee Rebus lovers definitely must try the version done at Goody N Jolly. Althought cost four dollar per plate, it still worth the price as the portion is big. The spicy peanut gravy taste great and the ingredients are very fresh as well. One of the popular stall in Marine Parade Shopping Centre that always can see long queues during lunch and dinner hours. Die die must try! My verdict: 8/10

The Cathay Restaurant Smile Jul 02, 2011

Quality Chinese Cruisines can be found at The Cathay Restaurant located inside The Cathay Building. TIll now, there isn't any dishes served here that are not up to my expectation. Would like recommend one of their signature dish: Cathay Crispy Roasted Chicken. The chicken meat is very tender and skin is not too oily and crispy. Garnished with shredded deep fried sea weed, it really taste special and yummy! Currently they also have ala-carte buffet dinner available daily too. smile My verdict: 8/10
