Causeway Bay Cry Mar 30, 2014

This restaurant is located quite prominently at Orchard road and the restaurant layout looks really cosy and comfortable.  Decided to have my lunch hear since not much people.
Service was alright and staffs are friendly and helpful.  Had tried their luo song tong, also know as the boscho soup, which is simply tomato paste soup base with mixed vegetables.  The soup was quite diluted and not much vegetable can be found in it.

The iced milk tea, which I suppose to be very look forward to, was very disappointing.  Super diluted with lots of ice cubes inside, which the portion of the ice cubes is even more than the milk tea. Moreover is too sweet and not flavourful as well.

Grilled Chicken chop in hot plate looks rather 'too simple' and like a course that can be easily prepared at home. Chicken chop was too dry and not really grilled till very nice and fragrant.  French fries were cold and too salty.  Even the mushroom sauce taste like can soup sauce, which is totally no creative.  Spent $15 for this meal which is not worth.

Panda Pau Cry Mar 29, 2014

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Multi-Concept | Kids-Friendly

After a fun fun trip at the River Safari,  I decided to settle down in this restaurant to have their signature must eat panda pao.

I was really super tiring to dine-in here as before you able to enjoy the food, you need to join in the long queue to place your order.  Took me around 25mins of queue before I managed to grab these cute little buns.

2 flavours are available, which includes the chocolate custard and red bean, which both selling at $2.90 each.  The pau texture is firm and soft, but i suppose it is not thick and not much filling can be found inside.  Red bean paste was alright but too sweet.  The chocolate custard taste more towards the chocolate flavour and I cannot really taste the custard flavour at all.

Restaurant was quite warm as too crowded and squeezy.  Service was fast and friendly.

Ham & Cheese Sandwiches Cry Mar 29, 2014
Categories : Food Court

Was waiting for my friend in this foodcourt to have some snacks, and while I was waiting for him, saw the staff brought out some freshly made sandwiches from the kitchen to the payment counter and decided to grab one to try.

The stall is neat and clean, and the counter lady cashier is friendly too. For the price of $1.70 for 2 descent slices of sandwiches, is quite reasonable.  The sandwich white bread is soft and very easy to chewy. As for the sliced cheese inside is chewy and fragrant, however for the chicken ham, thought it would be better if it can be a thicker slice as currently is too thick and cannot really feel the taste.

But for its reasonable price, I cannot really complaint much after all.  MOreover is very hygenience and you need not worry that is not clean whenyou buy it.   smile

Beef Horfun Cry Mar 29, 2014

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Coffeeshop

Actually I have no ideal on what to have for dinner when I came to this coffeeshop along.  However a auntie approached me with the food menu from this seafood restaurant stall so I decided to check out the food here.

Have bought the beef horfun at $4.00 which is cheap.  The presentation looks really nice and appetizing.  However after I have tasted it, it was quite a disapointment. The Dark gravy was near to tasteless and does not blend in well with the broad kway teow.  Ingredients used in this dish is fresh and crunchy.  Kway teow was too stick together and difficult to further them apart.

Coffee shop was quite windy and comfortable as fans are placed everywhere.

This Vegetarian stall always open quite early as I bought this packet of bee hoon on this mprning around 6.30am.  Run by an old couple which the chef if the wife while the husband assist to pack the food.

The stall is clean and neat and early in the morning I already can see many dishes available on their shelving to choose from.  I have bought the bee hoon with a few vegetarian items at onoy $2.50.  The bee hoon is chewy but was alittle bit too dry.  The stir fry cabbage has cooked well which is crunchy and fresh.  The char siew was chewy but not much taste.  Fried beancurd was crispy but too oily.  Uncle was friendly but service was slow.
