Yu Sheng

Yu Sheng

Upon arriving, i prepared a special yu sheng for us to lou hei! It was my 1st lou hei of the year!

The roasted pork is great, especially when dipped with the sour plum sauce.

Love the quiche as well!

My 1st coffee of the day! Not too bad, unlike some hotels where their coffee and tea are very diluted!

Love the durian puree dessert the most! Will definitely come back for more! smile

! of my fren has been recommending bout the buffet lunch and dinner which Himawari Japanese Restaurant serve.
well, seems like everyone been commenting so much about it and i decided to check it out.

Upon stepping into the restaurant, it gives a neat and tidy cosy feeling. Plenty of Japanese customers patronize this restaurant!

Menu

Wow... the beef and thinly sliced with layers of fats evenly spread across the meat.

A shabu shabu pot as well.

I dun usually eat sashimi but this is reali GOOD! Fresh and sweet, generous serving with thick slices of salmon and sword fish. Every mouthful is great!

Another of my favourite~ Cream corn croquette. the best which i ever come across so far!

Another recommended dishes! Stir fry pork with onions. I can have 2 bowls of white rice with it! lolz...

Overall verdict: Food is fresh and great, a variety of food, cheap and good. Service staff are friendly and we didnt wait too long for the food to be serve. I will definitely come back for more!

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Coffeeshop | Roasted Meat

Went to our usual place for lunch with a colleague and I love the roasted delight from this stall, especially the roasted chicken rice, roasted duck and noodles. I've tried the salted veggie duck soup before... the soup is considered cheap and good for a mere $2.50.

I don't mind eating from the same stall again even thought i ate their noodles the day before...Who cares as I was having strong crave for roasted duck. Lolz...
Roasted Duck Rice

Roasted Duck Rice

$3.00 for a plate of roasted duck rice is considered reasonable.

Roasted duck: Crispy fat duck but not oily...well roasted with a nice shade of shiny brown.
Love the salty spices rubbed on the underneath layer of duck.

Dumpling Noodle

Dumpling Noodle

$3.00 for a plate of dumpling noodles. Wow... sound reasonable ya?! A plate of noodles come with some veggie and 3 huge boiled dumplings with lots of shrimps and crunchy black fungus. Every bite is filled with sweetness of the prawns and meat. Yummy!

Recommended Dish(es):  Roast chicken,roasted duck,Char siew,dumpling noodles,stew soup

Pearl Milk Tea Smile Jul 20, 2012
Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

Sad to say that this is my first time drinking pearl milk tea from Koi Bubble Tea and was taken a back. I've always find their drink too over-rated as some of the popular flavours which i've drank so far, i find them so so only.

To determine whether drinks from a particular bubble tea outlet is worth drinking onot, just by trying their milk tea alone will give u the answer. I reali wondered how come i didnt try the milk tea from koi?

The tea is thick is fragrant, pearls are chewy and not too sweet. Thumb's up! No wonder it's FOREVER long Q. haha..
